ok,, they might be good.
But do you guys at VRP looked at the blocks distortion when having a very strong bolt that doesn´t stretch as oem?
Example 1 Old Volvo redblock(cast iron) here in sweden doesn´t work good with ARP´s, they pull to hard in the deck, deforming it.
Example 2 Gale banks are running oem bolts in his Insane duramax engines.

I’m confused. Are the OEM MB updated bolts insufficient for anyone or hard to source? Other than super high hp guys who are just going to use ARP studs anyway, who are these for exactly?
At over 7x the cost of the perfectly fine OEM updated headbolts @ $60 a side - I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a failure - how are these 7x better exactly?
And yeah, I hate to agree with you-know-who, but is “hardest”, and therefore possibly more brittle, necessarily even better in this application?

How much more power do these make over regular old head bolts?

I can say unequivocally not for you
This is a replacement for the monopolized ARP Bolts that are contractually available only through Wiestec for $1,189 a set.
The purpose of these studs as you already know, are for high horsepower boosted applications. (With our supercharger nearing completion this was a product we thought was necessary to produce ourselves)
They also Rectify the issue relating to factory bolt heads snapping off, which you also already know.
You can read about both materials here and you can see the many options ARP offers for materials, ARP2000 being the weakest
The Official ARP Web Site | Technical Information (arp-bolts.com)
H13 Tool & Alloy Steel Flat Bars Supplier, Stockist (imetalindia.com)
Everything You Need To Know About H13 Tool Steel丨DEK (dekmake.com)
With the current costs of metal and the high cost of H13 steel to begin with and extremely small batch sizes we dont make much on these. (we only make 10 sets at a time) This simply provides a lower cost option than the Weistec studs without sacrificing anything.
H13 steel is one of the toughest and fatigue resistant metals in use today.
H13 studs are used on diesel applications with extremely high boost levels and has been for years.
I still don't know why you feel the need to come to every thread of ours and attack everything that we do. This is a great product, at a very reasonable price. is it your preference that we not make these and let you pay $1,189 for studs instead?

”I can say unequivocally not for you”- Is simply an unnecessary and inflammatory response. I understand that VRP and Blkrot may have some history good or bad. But to the average reader this seems a little hostile.
That being said I’ll def order these if I have to rebuild this engine, seems to be a decent alternative to the ARP bolts.
