mercedes 71 280sl. Porsche 930 . Ducati mh900 and ps1000

Stearing shaft replacement question ….

Hi Guys
I have a Knock sound from the steering and all suspension is tight
was told it could be the shaft
should U replace part A or B?
Which part is usually responsable for the knock.

LOL anyone who answers this is just guessing. I practically guarantee whichever one you end up replacing, the opposite one will be the culprit…

Pictured above is the last part you would replace looking for a knock, start with replacing the sway bar links first and take it for a test drive if still there then replace the caster arm and lower arms.
