Cams installed, lifters installed, 63 plates installed, everything torqued and lubed. Should be ready to fire up once I get the valve covers installed.

First start-up video, very happy with the sound! Exhaust sounds a lot more aggressive and the car shakes at idle now.

Everything went smooth, no check engine lights and engine sounds smooth!

Not sure yet, wont have any time to test it until next week. Also planning on re-doing my catback with mufflers delete. Should be a lot louder.

Custom "F1 style" steering wheel, I like it. My car is more of a weekend cruiser, whenever I get bored of it I'll swap it out with a full wheel.

Cam specs? You can ballpark it. Stock lift or more lift? Also did you need cam phase limiters or just direct drop in?

Currently only discussing cam specs with my tuner Barry @ Eightysixtuned, maybe in the near future these cams can be available for the public.

These cams are direct drop-in, works with factory heads & valves.

They are PTG cams. They have different "stages" as options when you shop for them on their website. I am sure you can contact them more clarification

I'm not 100% they are from PTG. OP mentioned he paid $3k all up. PTG are ~$8k and they are supposedly brand new, billet pieces.
He never corrected the assumption that they are OEM cams that have been re ground and treated to his specifications on lift and duration.

Correct, you know what I'll just leak the info. No reason to hide anything lol Maybe this option will drive down all of the luxury tax people pay for parts on these cars.

I only paid $2,500 for these cams, I ordered them directly from Webcam, specifically requested I wanted something similar to a "Stage 3" cam that still worked with factory heads & valve springs. They spec'd out the cam for me, all I had to do was buy a used set of cores and ship it directly to them.

I did have to wait 5+ months for them to make them for me, they're a very busy shop but their work is top notch as you can see by the photos. The cams are hard welded, coated and treated so they won't wear out like factory cams.

Call them up directly and tell them you want something similar to a stage 3 cam, send them my youtube video if you'd like and they'll know exactly what you're talking about.

I do have my factory cams for sale if anyone is interested in using them as cores, just send me a PM.

I'm very impressed with the sound of your cams, and the fact that you did it yourself.

There definitely needs to be a bit more competition in the market. $8k for cams is a bit rich for my blood, especially seeing as for a few bucks more, you can get a stage 1 blower and make way more power 😅

No problem, I wanted to hold off until I got them installed but they work and sound great so far! Once we get the tune dialed in I'll post some more videos and some WOT runs.

Yeah for sure, I can buy a brand new Whipple or Kenne Bell for half the price for my Ford Lightning than $13K+ for the Benz. Pretty outrageous how much luxury tax we're paying for this platform.

they also sold like 30,000 lightnings which 75% will modify and likely 25% will buy a bigger blower. There's probably 1-2k supercharged 63 m156/m159 cars on the planet. And that's being very generous. Lots of time and cost associated with small scale production. That's just how supply / demand works. That's also not bring in the fact that the entry level car was $60k new (c63)0, and average over $100k (e63), and much more complicated. You're comparing pineapples to sea cucumbers.
