First start-up video, very happy with the sound! Exhaust sounds a lot more aggressive and the car shakes at idle now.
Everything went smooth, no check engine lights and engine sounds smooth!

Do we have dyno numbers for these yet?

Not yet, Barry is finalizing the tune. It's just about there, just needs a few final tweaks but overall the cams are running great on the street.
I'll post an update once he gets the tune finalized.

Haven’t been on here in ages but do you even know the specs of the stock cam to compare to the aftermarket. Stages mean nothing if you don’t know duration, lift, lobe separation angle. Chop comes from positive overlap. If there’s no buck, surge, or idle stable with no changes in tune… hate to break it to you but waste of effort.
Just because the cams have more duration doesn’t mean they will make more power. You need correct valve events or you can bleed off dynamic compression and be left with a slower car.
Send a intake and exhaust cam to Cam Motions. They can read it and now you have a base for specs. Then you need some custom springs. Black series springs probably can’t even handle .500/.500 lift. Lift is your friend. It’s what makes these valve events more aggressive.
engines are pretty simple but amg community makes it complicated lol. The only vendor I’d buy from again is Barry. He puts out a great product and is transparent. The fact that ptg can’t provide specs of both stock and aftermarket cam is hilarious.

We DID have tuning issues that we had to troubleshoot and figure out through various logs and maps. The ECU kept throwing false misfire codes at idle and kept putting the car into limp mode after certain misfire counts. That has now been solved and Barry knows exactly what to do now for future cam tuning projects.
I'm pretty sure most of the AMG community want plug-and-play cams without having to do any head work or change out valve springs or worry about valve to piston clearance. Also why would companies want to post their specs when they'll just get duplicated by other companies?
Also, nice edit on them sounding just like your factory cams

The factory cam specs are posted on their website if you search for it, when you purchase their cams they also provide the cam specs. These are a lot more aggressive than factory cams, lift and duration have been added to the cam.

Received the latest map from @eightysixtuned and went out for a test drive.
Did some light throttle driving to make sure everything is good, Barry's tune is spot on as always! Car feels very strong!

lol....love that the R888R's can't stick mid 2nd gear full throttle.

Toyo R888 actually gets no good result in tests today, they were good some years ago, better alternatives out there today.
Michelin Pilotsport cup2 or Pirelli Trofeo are good ones.

Not taking shots dude relax. They’re just not top tier tires for traction anymore. Capiche?

Need to schedule an appointment with the exhaust shop to re-do my axle back with mufflers delete. Just waiting on my exhaust tips to show up. 4.5" Quad tips.
Gonna give the RR's a try next, they have more of a slick contact patch for better traction than the R888R's.

Probably track times, not much of a fan of dynos unless they're used for tuning purposes.

Would love to try those out but they're a bit too pricey for street tires that only last ~8k miles on these cars.
