I must give you credit for busting the move on the build yourself! As far as the sound is concerned, if that’s your preference, go for it, but I’ve never just liked loud sound for sound sake. When viewing your video around town when you opened it up under the HWY Crossing, it didn’t appear the the MPH jumped as violently as it sounded. With that kind of loudness, one would expect the rear wheels to light up and mph to jump as well! To each their own, I guess. I personally couldn’t drive around with my car set up like that or my PIA/POA would have a cow!
When I did my rebuild, I had my heads rebuilt and it turned out 8 of my Intake Valves were bent and they measured all the springs and replaced a few of them too! As such, I’m not looking to undertake that again any time soon. Yes I used the New Headbolts! However, since my Cams have 100k mi on them, they are something I’ve been researching ever since I did my rebuild. I just didn’t have the coin to bust a move on them when I had the heads out the first time! I mean, don’t get me wrong, my 07’ E63 performs marvelously, but even though I did spring for the SLS Tappets, and the Cam Journals “looked” good from even my Head Builder’s perspective, I just know from a preventative maintenance standpoint that I would be well served to get them swapped out sooner as opposed to later! As such, the recommendations of WebCam for the Cams themselves, and Cam Motions to get the OEMs spec’d out is very useful information indeed! Not to mention, E63 Motorsports for their Cam Adjuster Plates & Oil Filter Cover & DipStick! And a shout out to Xtreme Headz in Palm City,Fl and RMT in Pompano for their hefty Intake Plenum as well their whole OEM Intake rebuild as well as their OEM Rebuilt AirSprings all around!

That video was one of the very first test drives around town with very mild throttle pulls to make sure everything was good.
I'll get some new videos but I can easily make my RR drag slicks light up from the hit.
Hey, just wondering if those first video’s on this post you took after the install of the Cams were representative of what the Cam Swap alone sounds like with the OEM exhaust set-up, or had you already made an exhaust modification? In other words, I’m curious to know if the difference from standard OEM sound was due solely by the Cam Swap, or by the combo of that + an exhaust Mod?
Finally got these bad boys in, had a shop custom spec these "stage 3" cams for me. Going to be doing a full top end rebuild with 63 Motorsports Plates, BS Lifters, Gaskets & Seals.
