Help with finding a break kit

Hey guys, so Mercedes’ quoted me $4000 for pads and rotors all around with out install. Definitely something I’m trying to avoid and go with something else. I’ve been looking all over eBay and fcp euro etc and can’t find anything for a 2013 c63 with p31. Everything seems to be meant for cars without p31. Looking to see if someone has been through this or has any links that can lead to finding a setup. Located in Canada if that helps.

fcp euro has the exact parts you are looking for, and yes for your p30/p31/performance pack/apx

All rotor and pads are interchangeable between standard C63, P31. Only difference is that P31 had 2 piece rotors (actually 1.5 as it was not possible to replace the cast iron disc with out the out the aluminium hat) while standard C63 had 1 piece rotors. There are plenty of information in different threads on this forum about this subject.

FCP euro is your friend when it comes to service parts and items for the C63.

Merc dealers will bend you over without the courtesy of giving you a Rhodesian reach around.

get the two piece brembos for the front - they are about $500 each - and your choice of pads. Genuine MB rears are $65/each + pads.

You're looking at about $1300 in parts (depending on which pads you go with). Maybe 3h of labor to do both F&R, although a competent mechanic should be able to do it more quickly.

If you're not comfortable doing it (which, no offense, I'm guessing is the case based on the challenge you had identifying proper parts), find an indy that's willing to use parts that you supply.

You should be out the door for $1750 or less.

All that being said, I might want a second opinion instead of trusting the dealer that both your front and rears (pads and rotors) all needed replacement.

im fully capable of doing the job my self, it’s just my first amg and I don’t want to order rotors that won’t fit or something and make a mistake. I’d rather be safe than sorry and ask for help. Did you find the brembos on fcp? Thx for ur reply

I just did this on my 2013 with the P31. Brembo 2 piece front rotors, all other parts genuine Mercedes, all from FCP Euro at a really good price. Brembo makes the rotors for Mercedes.

I assume you wanted to say "....Brembo makes the rotors for Mercedes..." as a OE supplier
