Moshammer wide arches build.....
I'm going to document my build. I just ordered the Moshammer wide arches . In a perfect world i would have new wheels ready to go along, but sadly i can't afford them now. So i ordered some 50mm wheel spacers from Bonoss, to go along with my SLS replica wheels (19x9.5 et45) with 285s. Before I get bashed for the spacer let me say that i did lots of research, and there is NTN bad with running spacers, there are plenty of G63s SUVs using those same quality spacers for years without a problem, so for the time being be it, later in i will put in some 19x12. I will post the process at the Bodyshop step by step. Here some pics of the car right now .
Will update in about a week when I get the arches.....
Got a great deal, they were in sale....

Update
It was shipped FedEx the next day, i should receive it by latest Monday next week.
The work will be done by myself with the help of my buddy who is actually a body man, so it will be done at the shop where he works. I will document step by step, as when I was searching for information about it there is really no good thread showing the process.....

Spacers are cool until you start getting into Man speeds. Than they all wobble, 50MM is a huge spacer, at low speeds they may be okay but they all start to wobble at higher speeds, even if they are hub centric.
As for the build, good luck cant wait to see how it goes. Your lucky black is an easy color to match, should be easy to paint.

Update
it took 9 days from i placed the order to get the package. Everything looking very nice. Only one complain and imperfection i can see, the outer lip of the new arches is not perfectly aligned at a 90 degree angle, in some areas it's pushed in a little bit .... Not a big deal but not perfect, and since it's fiberglass there is no way to fix that.....
Day 1 Oct 20
After taking some measurements, the moment came, we cut the original panels, i made a line about 3 inch high off the fender lip and went all around....see pics....
After that we sand down to bare metal the meeting points. Then we place the parts of the flares in place and hold them down with self tapping screws, it took a few adjustments and lots of grinding down the flares to make them fit flush with each others. Once everything in place we placed the body panel special glue and bolt them back down in place to dry. Also we filled the gap in between the quarter panel and the car with sealant. That's it for day 1. Tomorrow sanding down and painting prep.....

Day 3
almost finished with prepping for painting....my friend is very meticulous and precise so he went over and over again with sanding and filling. All the panels are extremely smooth now. Primer was applied, Tomorrow is the last sand down then painting starts....

It's difficult to tell in the pics but do you think all these bits could be attached with rivnuts and left unfinished for a track only car application?

That sealer and 'glue'?
Does it become hard enough to not let movement happen?
I´m afraid the bondo will crack if not.
Otherwise, i´m impressed.
I have this mod in my mind also.

You have to rivet the flares in along with adhesive. Looks good OP. What are you doing for the fender liners?

It bonds extremely hard, NTN can crack it or tear it apart, strong as steel. U can literally hang on those fenders and NTN move. Finishing everything up today.....soon post pics. Pictures give no justice, in real life it's amazing, it looks like a while new different car, and it just match the front fenders perfectly.

For the fender liners my body man said he is doing something to extend them, will find out today......but there is not such a huge gap, seems a pretty easy fix...just to find a way to hold the fender liners in place ...

Car completed ...pics do no justice, in real life it's a complete different car, it looks OEM wide, like it should have come from factory. The rear arches match perfectly the front ones. The end result exceed what i was expecting, this is the must mod number 1 for this car......
now i have to think of i want to lower it a bit as the gap is a bit too much, but at the same time as is the tire is perfectly flush and it don't rub. I will eventually pit on 19x12 in the future but for now the spacer wiela very well, intedt it uo to 230kmh and there is zero vibration or wabble, it drives just like before......as I'm at the limit of clearance i will downsize the spacer to a 40mm and upsize the tires to 285 30 19.

Yep no need for screws or anything. Most people aren't aware, that for the past 10-15 years, new cars are mostly bonded together with glue instead of welds. You'll see some tact welds but everything is glued together nowadays.
