Question for anyone that changed their own power steering pump

Attempting to remove the power steering pump. I have the fan and shroud removed as well as the steering rack lowered. I removed 2 torx bolts on the front of the pump and also the torx bolt that fastens the L bracket on the back of the pump (the one that's behind the ac line) and the one to the block. The youtube video I watched says to remove 4 bolts but I'm not sure if they are counting the bolt that connects the support bracket to the block. So I've removed 3 bolts on the pump itself and one bolt that connects the pump support bracket to the block. Can anyone confirm that there is another bolt on the back of the pump, and if so, give me some directions to its location? I can't really get my eyes on it.

Thanks Mort.

I see this in my near future as I deal with regular no power assistance at parking speeds following a full system fluid leak (I have followed all air bleed steps 110%).

Just 3 bolts to remove the pump. The banjo is a pain.

Update: Got it. yes there is 5th bolt.

Another update for anyone in the future doing this......At least for MY 2012, there are 2 different pumps. The pump I had ordered had a different banjo bolt connection. You have to order a pump based on engine code to make sure you get the correct one.

Thanks for the updates and info. Any idea on the engine number split? Mine is a 2011 and it looks like there's an old pump (2008-2011) and a new pump (2012-2015). However my 2011 engine is one of those in the middle of the split (newer headbolts and plastic valve covers). Or happen to know the differences in the banjo bolt head or thread? Thanks again.

Where? From the pic Mort posted above #2 is 2 bolts and #4 just one if you leave the bracket attached to the block.

So there were 2 bolts on the front of the pump. On the rear of the pump there is a bolt that bolts the support bar to the pump. Lets say if you're facing the back of the pump, that bolt (support bar bolt) is at the 9 o'clock position. There is another bolt that has to be removed at the 2 o'clock position. I had to completely remove the support bar to access this bolt. This s for engine #6067538 and newer as #6067537 and older is a different pump so the mounting bolts may be different. So I had 2 bolts on the front, 2 bolts (support bar to pump and to block) and the one lone bolt on the back at 2 o'clock. 5 in total for mine.

Did you have to remove the bracket because of space constraints? I don't have AC so there's a lot more room below the pump.

Maybe there was a 4th bolt that threads into the pump? I didn't have to remove the bracket from the block.

So once I took off the 2 front bolts and the support bracket, the pump wouldn't budge, but I kind of forced it up and down until it started to pivot. I knew there had to be a 4th bolt at the pivot point. You cannot see it. There was a wire that ran in front of it that I had to move. I had to remove the support bracket to get to this bolt. There are also 2 metal tubes that run parallel to the block that are in the way. Only way i could get to the 4th bolt was to get some torx bits from Harbor Freight and use a 1/4 drive 12mm socket to hold the bit. Then I used a short and long wobble extension with a quarter drive ratchet. You're basically working blind on that last bolt so maybe your previous owner didn't put it in or maybe the pump is different.

I think another way to tell which pump you need (new or older) is to look at the connection #7 in Morts picture. The one in that picture looks like the older version bc mine connects with an e-torx bolt.
