I can never convince myself to hose down the engine bay like that, it is 100% silly but I can't do it lol.

that's a bargain (certainly a drop in the bucket to Dom, as you can see the rest of his collection toward the end of that video); same color & similar spec is going for 1.5x~2x of that elsewhere in the world.

Think about all the car collectors in the world flexing on each other because they have a complete set of Black Series's more than the reality of what the value of the car actually is.

Is a real Shelby Cobra really worth millions over a replica? Not in my mind.

Depends on the reason you're actually buying the car.

I'm with you however, I'd be looking at SLS's instead of a super duper C class.

cool, you'd be looking to spend around 3x~4x the $ on the non-pedestrian SLS with similar mileage; for delivery-miles, they're going for more than 4x like this one from last weekend:

coupes will always be more sought after than 'verts, right, and gullwing's been on the path of rebound from rock bottom for a few years already, depending on condition/mileage/etc, some has gradually reached/peaked over the original msrp (w/ inflation priced in, too); the topless 'verts are still at rock-bottom but they won't stay there much longer.

depending on your desire & fixation on those doors i guess, i've seen the backdoors of electric suv having the same function, for less, too.

While I agree, $180k (what he paid on BAT) for a C63 Black seems nuts, even with low mileage, judging by the rest of his collection, I suspect he doesn't care if it's $120 or $220.
Guys at that level just buy what they want and like. More power to them.
