Valve Cover Gasket Bolts

So one of the previous owners of my 2009 C63 replaced the driver's side valve cover with the new black plastic cover, but the passenger side is still the aluminum one. I can find the valve cover bolts for the plastic cover but not the original aluminum one, FCP Euro and Rock Auto don't seem to have them. Anyone know a place to get bolts that fit the aluminum one or know if it even matters? I'd rather not buy new valve cover just to fit the stupid one time use bolts. Planning on upgrading the Cam Adjuster phaser plates with the 63 motorsports ones, this is the last thing I need to finish up the material orders.

Thanks for the reference. I'm paranoid so I'll have a look at my timing cover bolts and see if they are at least the same torx bolt size as the old valve cover ones.

The OEM bolts for the metal and plastic valve covers are NOT the same, at least not according to Mercedes. The metal valve covers on the PFL ('07-'11) cars use the bolts you specified. The black plastic valve covers on the FL ('12-'14) cars as well as the SLS require single-use aluminum bolts with integrated sleeves / washers - the OEM part number for those is A0109906704 (you can see what they look like at https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...des-0109906704).

The bolt length and thread pitch between the two bolt variants is indeed the same, but the steel bolts without the integrated sleeves for the PFL metal covers will usually break the FL plastic covers.
