Installed a 8" Android head unit to monitor my Intercooler Temps, Engine Coolant, Trans Temp, Fuel Pressure, Voltage, ect. with AMG Performance media style gauges.
Fabbed some custom aluminum intake pipes to go in the factory intake scoops location. Dropped my air intake temps about 20F*.
Installed a Blackboost Thermostat, dropped my engine coolant and oil temps by 20F*.
Had some custom Beadlock wheels made to match my HRE wheels so I can run some 305 MT ET Street R's.
You should be very proud of your build. It's exceptional in every aspect. As to the cams, if that's the factory cam on the right, no wonder they chew up lifters. That is a really sharp profile with a fast ramp to it! Are yours a similar total lift but with more duration? Less lift but more duration? I don't know which way these guys rotate, but if your spec cam is on the left, is the gentle ramp on the right side of the cam opening the intake? I am totally guessing here, but is the idea, with your blower, start opening sooner and longer because we are coming to the party early? Merry Christmas

The cams have a bit more lift with more duration than the factory cams, the valves stay open longer for maximum airflow.

Thanks man, would be cool to see your ML with the 3L Whipple.

Ha, not gonna lie, the thought has crossed my mind! I’ve already got one 3.0L Gen5 Whipple in my stable…another one would rock! Although then the wife would want one on her Mustang too haha. Here’s the one on my Camaro:

Thank you! Runners are getting sent off this winter to be drilled for port injection… 8 injectors can’t give me enough fuel so I’m hoping 16 does the trick!
Whats next for your rig? Dyno time? Drag strip runs? Or just enjoy the hell out of it?

Built trans from SHR is next on the list, then maybe more boost. Going to enjoy it this winter and take it to car meets and put some miles on it!

No filters really needed on a nice sunny weekend driver, I did add turbo mesh screens to keep large debris out tho.
You're slowly sanding the **** out of that sweet supercharger. It really needs high-flow filters of some kind. 👍
If it was my daily driver I'd look into adding air filters, it only gets driven once a week. I'll pull the lid off after 5-10k miles and inspect the rotors. 👍
Awesome build photo dump. Looks like everything came together very nicely. Are you local to Dallas area - Top Speed license plate frame.
Wheel fitment and tire choice are spot on. Let us know how it does on the dyno.
