W204 Shifter Moving during hard acceleration 1st & 2nd gear

Hey guys, I have bene facing a problme that I cannot seem to fix and I am at the end of the road looking for help. I have been having an issue where everytime I put throttle 1st and second I have major play in my shifter. During acceleration it moves towards neutral, and on decel it snaps back in place. I feel the car about to go into neutral through the gas pedal. I changed my bushings for the tranny, my engine mounts are brand new, tranny mount is brand new. I just ordered a used Shift selector box, where the rod is that controls the physical shifting. I heard it needs programming does anybody have any insight on that aswell. Please somebody save me from this nightmare.

You may get more of a response in the w204 c63 section, as the w205 shifter is on the colum so won't apply.

i would imagine the bushes in the shifter linkage are worn as the w204 C63 has a regular mechanically linked shifter not an electric ISM to shift the transmission.

I figured it out. The engine mounts are so horrible that is move the engine to the point it disengages the shifter.

Was the engine mount a big job?

I have yet to do them. I'm going with after markets. I'll post up. I will try and get a video in of the movement. The mounts are toast.

My Bad Mounts
Woah, that is pretty bad, it is like you were lifting the engine up with your hand or something. So why do you want to go aftermarket? Don't like the idea of fluid filled?

I'm under the impression that headers and the ambient heat next to the mounts will make them ware out once again and give it a shorter than expected life span.

I have a Carbon Fibre driveshaft and I want to keep as much mobility and flex OUTSIDE of that thing, because I know I could be playing with the potential of it breaking since I go to the track a lot. I already have an aftermarket transmission mount, so I'll complete the set.

I love the 1/4 track and am doing my best to prep for it. I believe these mounts will best be suited for me. I'm not worried too much about comfort. I mean my current ones are bad and I didn't even notice inside the cabin.

If the aftermarkets suck, then I'll just get OEM, but I do wanna try the aftermarket due to the abuse I will put them through.

Those are the ones!

Like I said, I'll be waiting until the sale comes up for the holiday, and then I'll purchase. I can't wait.
