ESP/abs module needed for 09 c63 w204
If anyone has a line on a ESP/ABS Module please pass it along. I do not need the motor or valve block. Must be from 09-10 c63. Dealer wants $1800 plus programming labor.

The electronics can be repaired and no reprogramming will be required. - a simple search will find your answers.
A new or secondhand unit will need reprogramming.

I was put in touch with a seller of a used abs assembly with motor and module through this forum. The module has identical numbers on it. Is there a decent chance it will end up being plug and play? Is the dealer able (willing) to perform reprogramming if needed?

I have located a suitable replacement module via referral from this list however I have not been able to speak to a knowledgeable enough service writer to obtain an answer to what I think a pretty simple question. Can Mercedes service re program a used module to my vin? The service writer that I was able to speak with did not know the answer and said he would ask someone there with more experience this question and either get back to me or have someone else get back to me. Which they have not. I would like to order the module and move forward with replacement however if the module will require re programming as those in the know here say it will then the first thing I need to figure out is who can perform the programming...................

A salvaged part should be easy to find as it is the same on C180-C350 ranging from 2007 to 2015.
Apparently you can use a used one but does need to be VIN coded to the car, apparently the Autel Maxisys can do this job.
