ALL the fluid changes possible
Hello,
I am going to change all the fluids this upcoming Spring for my 2012 C63 with LSD! Just wanted to get another set of eyes, am I missing anything else from the below?
-Oil (obviously)
-Coolant
-Transmission
-Brake Fluid
-Differential
-Power Steering
-There's no 'transfer case fluid' right? That's just the Transmission fluid?

As a note, read up on coolant, your 2012 like mine has the blue stuff, g48 which Mercedes no longer sells and instead they sell g40 pink stuff, doing mine soon and while it seems they can be mixed, not taking any chances and doing a thorough flush on mine. It does seem you can get valvoline xerex g48 still if you don’t want to swap to the new OEM pink stuff.

Yeah that is on my list as well unfortunately lol. So expensive.. I should also get new injectors to prevent that stuck injector issue we get.
My valve cover gaskets are leaking so do you think I should just get new valve covers as well since I am in there? My car has 88k miles now..

2012 C63 P31 and 2011 E550 Luxury
Don't forget to change the Blinker fluid! I use True Blink 150W-300 you can get it at most Auto parts stores and strangely Temu too. Here is a guide on how to change it otherwise dealer charges through the nose.
Step 1: Drill a large hole in the bottom of the turn signal to let the old fluid out. Step 2: Roll car onto roof, and then refill turn signal. Step 3: plug hole in turn signal with some JB Weld allow to cure for 2 weeks. Step 4: roll car back over and immediately try to start the engine while turning the headlights on and off very fast for 30 seconds straight.
This only works with Mercedes too, BMW's you can't change the fluid at all as it's a welded shut unit and this is why when it runs out those cars are basically worthless also why you see such low re-sale value on them.
