My sales guy told me 10 days for build, then about a week till it's on the boat, 2 more weeks to get across the Atlantic, another 1-2 weeks at the VPC (Brunswick, GA for mine), then trucked to the dealership for 1-3 days. So from start to finish, you're looking at 39 - 48 days. Longer if there are any hurricanes.

2019 AMG C43
Wow the dynamics package is interesting and a very fair price for what it offers. In the W205, dynamic engine mounts were only available on the C63s, even the normal C63 didn’t get them. Seems that they have really upped their game and have gone all out for this generation W206 C43. They seem to be putting a lot more effort in their ‘mid tier’ AMGs than BMW is with their mid tier M models. As some reviewers have said about the past gen C43 and the new one, the C43 is a lot closer to the full fledged C63 and the M340i is a lot closer to the 330i, but hey some people only want 6 cylinders. That dynamics pack has now become a “must have” for me if I were to pick a 2024 one up. Also very nice to see the digital lights get added to the Pinacle trim, however I think they should have also kept it as a standalone for the exclusive trim for those like alexasa who prefer to only tick the options they want rather than pay for a whole grouping of options that don’t interest you. I still find these trim level groupings stupid and something they should leave to Audi. What was wrong with the lighting package, premium package, multimedia package, burmester option all as stand alone options like they used to do on the previous generation of cars? I personally don’t care for a head up display or MB navigation (I just use CarPlay anyway) but do want the enhanced ambient lighting, burmester and upgraded lights, so I if I had the option, I would omit what I don’t want, save the money and call it a day.
I find it stupid that they restrict certain color combinations with Starling Blue. I understand not allowing people to spec it with the bright red interior as that would be a bit much, but the not allowing us to combine it with the brown makes no sense to me. Brown over blue is elegant and classy and I find these two specific colors to compliment each other really well. My current w205 is blue over beige (a color combo not too far different from blue and light brown) and I get tons of compliments on the color combo. My local dealer had a Starling blue over black C43 with chrome and no night pack and I feel in love with it. Starling blue is definitely the way I’m going on my next MB. I might even decided to skip the night pack this time as I found the lighter blue and chrome to work so beautifully, it was truly elegant.

Got a build date of 1/31 for a extremely loaded up C43 however I see a $215 credit for missing enhanced ambient lighting. We looked at a base C300 with standard ambient lighting and seems to have all 64 colors and even the changing cold/hot lighting for vents. Anyone know the difference between standard and enhanced lighting? Also curious because the build guide specifically says AMG is excluded.

After lots of homework and talking to dealer. 891 package does not have any color vents nor the center led strip around screen. They are going to confirm why its removed if the build guide says C43 is excluded. Also going to find out if their is a way to add it without delaying anything. If I hear more I can follow up.
I am curious for those built already how they come. I mean I feel for what were paying it should defiantly put given as priority for AMG builds.

Ok all got some more news. So my dealership called distribution(least that is what they called it to me) and they were able to force add the 894 package back on without extending my build date at all. So those that see it missing and want it just have your dealer call distribution and try to add it back. That said I have pretty much every option selected including Magno paint so maybe because its pretty kitted out build they made exception but I would say its at least worth a try regardless.

A VIN / Order number can usually be used to find out which ship the cars are on for MB. Most car are shipped on Wallenius Wilhelmsen car transport vessels, and you can find the car by entering in the tracking number on their website (which is either the VIN or order number.)
