The RWS definitely helps.

Doesn’t surprise me! Check out this MotorTrend article giving a pretty scathing review to the new M340i. Definitely a great engine but it’s matched to a chassis that is overall lacking in dynamism compared to the AMG. https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/2...t-test-review/

The interior needs an update, I guess interior design wasn't always BMW's strong point?

I’d say they’ve been missing it for a couple generations. Looks like they’ve gotten it right with the 7 series though

I think so too for the 7 series.

BMW has always taken a different approach to interior design --> minimalist.
Audi has always tried to be more technophile, and Merc has always been all out lux.

I see but then the problem is, the design of their new cars' interior really do look like a facelift of their old cars' interior when I look at pictures comparing it.

To clarify that means it is more of an evolution over revolution. Can barely tell a difference.
