Has anyone had any 48 volt battery issues on the 2023 MY C43 Sedans?
A little backstory I was driving my car and then the battery light came on then a minute later the check engine light came on and told me to stop immediately. Subsequently, my dash became a Christmas tree and all the lights came on indicating things being disabled, ie traction control, steering assist, forward collision, etc. I was like wow this is pretty exciting for just a low battery. I know Mercedeses trip out when the battery fails and you get a check engine light as it happened on my last 43, but the Christmas tree was unexpected and uncalled for lol. Anyway, nbd because it's just a battery right? WRONG. Got it towed to the dealer and they finally told me that it isn't the battery specifically. I am for some reason "very intermittently" not getting voltage.
Is this a consistent problem with the 23 model? If so, what is the common issue / solution? If not, I know it could be anything, but what do you think is likely the problem?
This car is so garbage, my god...I compromised to get this car and now this comprimisation (not a word) was not even worth it. Downgraded from a V6 (my 19 C43 Coupe) to a 4 hybrid, and downgraded from a coupe to a sedan (now I feel like an Uber driver). That being said, I love the interior even though some people call it cheap. I don't think its cheap. I love the intelligent light system or whatever its called. The gimmicky picture when locking/unloocking/ and starting up is cool and the lights turning in the direction you turn is cool. The 20" wheels are really nice too.
One major positive though is I have had 0 tire / rim problems in 8 months of ownership. Knock on wood. My 2019 I went through about 12 tires and 1 rim...all without the wheel and tire warranty. Boy have learned my lesson...
Other issues I've had, the infotainment system crashing, freezing, resetting randomly. I know many others had that issue too, but this is still trash. Finally after 3 trips (I think) to the dealer it has been running proper since November. And the other issue I had was the AC control panel on the back had a click and didn't feel natural when pressing on it. They replaced that and it doesn't seem fixed. I'm not going to try to get that fixed at this point, whoever rides with me can suffer lol. I just want to have my car. I don't care if its under warranty and free to fix. For 1 my service center sucks and never have loaners, 2 if i get a loaner it is an even more garbage car, 3 I am paying for a car that I am not driving. Insane. The moment it falls in to lemon law criteria, sayonara! I'll get the 1st year model run of the CLE to suffer with all the 1st year problems it has haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
TLDR: I have a 48 voltage battery issue on my 2023 MY C43 Sedan, it is not the battery itself, what could the problem be? This car is a POS.

Might be related to recent recall:
Dealers will replace the main fuse boxes free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 16. Owners can contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372.

If that happened, a vehicle might lose propulsion without warning, restraint functions or the instrument cluster might be impaired, increasing the risk of a crash and injuries. I’ve just got my car back from the dealer for this exact issue. There isn’t an issue with the 48v battery. The problem is software. The fixes have been written and are currently nearing the end of testing. My dealer’s workshop manager made some calls and managed to get MB to release it early to him before it’s live. He said to expect a recall soon. They are for pretty much every electrical system on the car.

I Have a 2024 c43 and all the lights lite up like you stated. Getting text from my app that battery is low. Mb stated from what they know it is the cable was twisted from factory. They replace the cable and sensor. I believe it’s still happening . Battery low again. Something is draining it. Have to bring it back. Any suggestions.
