W206 has grown in comparison to W205, I assume the next E would be bigger than the current. The trend is for bigger, heavier and electric obviously, need more space for those big, heavy batteries.
It certainly has. Every time I look at the W206 I just admire the increased width and length. Certainly approaching mid size dimensions.

Why is the HST imposed on the Air Conditioning Tax? (ie, the Air Conditioning Tax is $100 and then you pay an extra $13, which is 13% of the $100). Is this ''tax-on-tax'' or what?
My suspicion is, maybe, this is a 'mistake' by the dealer, deliberately or non deliberately?
Well, the difference might not be 'big money' but 'every penny counts'. Just do not let the dealer to cheat you out or your government does a ''tax-on-tax''.

I'd recommend PPF if you are getting magno. PPF on just the front facing surfaces will run you about $2k. I'd say that maintenance is not difficult but you'll be **** about who and how your car is washed and protected for the life of it. And if you ever need any respray work it will be difficult/tedious have a proper job done.
You can also matte wrap a regular glossy selenite car for the *same* effect. Stealth wraping an entire car will run you 6 - 7k but you'd save about $2500 to spec the magno color. Draw back here is if the work is not perfect you will be able to see glossy edges around the car where panels meet.
I've debated matte wrapping - but silver metallic almost looks matte in certain lighting and I don't think will be worth the cost. If I went blue or even graphite I might second guess that.

Regarding the A/C - I noticed that as well, and will definitely be bringing that up in my next correspondance with them. MY question is, how the hell can factory floor mats ever cost $300??!?!!?

I have a question regarding the dashcam from Mercedes. The current mercedes does not work during the parking mode.
I heard there is an upgraded dashcam built in 2023 c class sedan which records the parking mode rear and front . Anyone has clue what kinds of dashcam built in C43?
Update from my SA today - order still showing factory locked and Feb 3rd build date (still includes sport seats and DC2 studio package). Always curious around the codes shown too, anyone know exactly what they mean? I am assuming LF06 / Factory Production Freeze / ZFSC are all normal/good at this point in the production cycle?

Yeah, I would not bail on it if studio was omitted, of course as long as it still remains full night package. Honestly seats either, but I guess we find out... probably the week after?

We should have a VIN first or second week of February at the latest? Barring any last minute delays. I'd think they would push the date by now if there were anything unaccounted for.
Has anyone confirmed Dealer ETA date recently? It would only show on built cars correctly from my experience.
Last time I checked with my SA it didn’t give him an estimated dealer ETA, just the vessel it’s on. So I’ve just been tracking it that way until I see it reach the port.

That looks like that dealer presentation car to me - the same one I got to see in person. I cannot confirm from that singular photo but the car I saw had had two fin diffuser and no digital lights up front.

Probably is as you said. But nice to see one on public roads in America for once. I've never see one in any dealerships, missed out.
