Own it! Here are some more shots of the diffuser specifically. All? UK cars are no night package. I think it works great on these colors - I've never been a fan of chrome window surround and I think the chrome diffuser makes the rear end look more narrow. I also prefer the black side blade for the thinning effect it creates for the profile. The front end - I don't care much either way.
I'll agree that the rear diffuser is the downfall of the C43 without the night package, but I think the extra chrome on the wondows, front end, side piece, and the body colored mirrors look incredibly classy and balanced especially with a dark colored exterior. I think the rear diffuser on the non night package C300 (and other non-AMG engines) is far more successful. I was lucky to spend some time with one of the 20 or so US Spec pre production 2022 C300s that was built without the night package when it was at my local dealership, and I thought it was very nice looking

Totally off topic and I'm sorry about it but you have a used (but I believe 0 owner) 2021 S580, W1K6G7GBXMA003788, that's a pre production car that by my vin decoder knowledge was used as an EPA test car to get the gas milage certified. Looks like it was driven a total of 39 miles between it's build date in October 2020 and its sale through MBFS to you guys in March 2023. Wild. Super cool to me lol.

I've been looking at multiple dealers' inventory near me (Houston TX) and out of all the C43s that are listed, NONE have the digital light package. How is that possible? I think I saw maybe 1 with the Studio Pack and I looked at more than 50 cars. I'm pretty surprised ........

The fresh inventory at Baltimore and soon to be at Brunswick should all have come in as specced. There were virtually no missing options.
Glad my car got delayed the way it did at this point - not happy about the release still pending though.

EPA is apparently busy with other priorities: "agency is expected to roll out complex regulations on power plant emissions of greenhouse gases and toxic pollutants in March. The agency must race to finish them in about 18 months, before the next general election.
The EPA, which has about 17,500 employees, is still suffering from the exit of many scientists and policy workers during the administration of Donald Trump.
Billions of dollars are flowing to the agency after last year's passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, for programs including the $27 billion green bank, which will offer grants to disadvantaged communities to deploy solar and other programs to cut emissions and provide jobs."

The good news is my dealer was able to get my build accepted, but the build date is now September vs the original May date. Or the possibility the May build was actually locked and he was just able to secure a new allocation. We will be waiting as this is my wife’s car and her build.

Welp...while awaiting confirmation my build has hit the assembly line (4/19), I'm looking into PPF, Wheels and slightly worried about the tint. Again, a configurator would be nice to keep me busy daydreaming.
#1447
They fixed any issues with tinting - I'd still mention to use as little moisture as possible for the rear glass. I keep going back and fourth on PPF - probably worth it if you're keeping long term.

Whoop! Your car will probably go right from production to delivery which is nice. The US configurator is unpublished and incomplete: https://www.mbusa.com/en/vehicles/bu...edan/c43w4/dx0

Hopefully we get some good news in the next week or so. I see the Symphony is almost to GA port as well!

@EuroGermantown Question for you on orders / Netstar status updates - once vehicle arrives at VPC, what additional statuses should it go through before it's ready to get on a carrier to dealership? Obviously I know it also needs to be launched, but if I call for an update, ideally what statuses should still remain once it's gotten off of the boat?

I think I am going to do PPF on at least the front bumper. I knew I was not planning on keeping my current car more than 2 years but the chips on the bumper still bother the crap out of me, ha!

I still haven't seen the wheels I've specc'd anywhere. So that could be a surprise to me still. They are selling the black variant online now: https://www.kunzmann.de/shop/en/c43-...rcedes-amg.htm
Eager to get my hands on and start modding.
