C43 new engine for 2024
I have just heard that the modell year 2024 will have a stronger engine with 424HP (310kw). It is still public on the confiuration site. Do you have any guess where the difference is comming from and why?

150k is worse than even Canada. what happened to your currency, it was 1.10 to usd 10 years ago, now it's 0.60 to usd.

Part of the reason for the high price is Aus-spec Benz cars come extremely heavily optioned as base, pretty much the only things you can add to the 150k base model on the C43 is the AMG seats and carbon interior, which pushes price to 160k. Everything else (20" wheels, pano roof, night package, driver assists, digital lights etc.) all come standard. Also note that the 150k drive-away price includes over 35k in taxes - Australia puts brutal taxes on luxury cars (originally there to protect the domestic car market, but even though we no longer manufacture cars domestically and haven't for more than a decade, the taxes remain...)

definitely would like more info on this myself since im currently waiting on a 2023 delivery and if thats the case i might just cancel get my deposit back and order a 2024 instead. Any more information on this wokld be greatly appreciated

They probably adjusted it to be slightly more competitive. The car will likely weigh more too with options like the dynamic engine mounts and PRE-SAFE Impulse Side

The only real difference between that engine and the M139L of the new W206 range is the hybrid turbo.

Maybe the 2024 model year does get a power bump but it might be understated on the 2023.
