Angry 2024 c43 amg christmas tree

Hello!
New here and tried searching the forum but couldn't find a similar issue to MY24. I live in the midwest and few months ago, car had a CEL and after the dealer checked it out, mentioned the cold weather can impact the sensors and to drive it normally and should go away spontaneously when it heats up.
-Drove the car last week just fine, normal weather
-This morning, normal weather, went to start the car and every single dashboardlight is on, all the warning signals are on and etc.
-Any advice or anyone with similar issues? Do have a service appointment pending but irritated with the issues. Just leased the car in Jan 2025 and has about 5.4k miles on it.

They are brushing you off, these vehicles go through extreme weather test in cold and hot temperatures, average living temperatures should not affect it.

Software updates are the main solutions for these issues you mentioned another possible cause is molding sand.

Not all dealerships are created equal, try another dealership if this one doesn't want your business. More on molding sand here: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c43-a...-thoughts.html

Thank you for your response! Unfortunately, the next dealership is >2 hours away from me, but fingers crossed they can take care of it. Did read up on the molding sand per you link and I guess I will have to wait and see the cause. Thank you. Hoping they can provide a loaner vehicle as I do have to go to work still (lol).

No worries! I did read this thread earlier I am assuming this is what is happening with my vehicle but will wait for the 'proper evaluation'. Have to get a tow truck to tow it because I don't want them to blame for any incidental damages that may come from me attempting to drive it.
*yay*.....

as with any car that has sat, it's most likely the 12v battery.

Even with just sitting for 1 week? Not saying it can't happen but I feel like that isn't a extremely long time. I have travelled before for 2-3 weeks and no issues with vehicles/batteries in the past. Thank you for your response!

If the battery was defective or damaged before it was sold to you, a bad battery could indeed be a cause.

There were batches of bad battery so this indeed could be the cause.

I would say get the dealership to run a battery test for that reason.

I definitely will. Unfortunately had to cancel today's appointment due to a last minute emergency but currently no CEL/other lights are on and driving normally. Will still have them evaluate it, thank you!

I see, all good, hope it gets resolved sooner rather than later.

you bought a 2024. the production of 2025 began in August. which means the car has at least sat at the dealership for well over 6+ months before you bought it. My 2024 I bought at end of Feb had a production date of June 2024. I would not be surprised if the battery issue comes up if it was drained and also the battery could be faulty to begin with.

edit: read there were some issue with the door handle modules draining the battery.
