All the early reports said the W205 was getting the M177.

Now they're saying a de-tuned version of the M178.

Yeah but we expected that it would be de-tuned. They're saying about 480hp. I wonder how much the s-model will come with.

510HP is what a insider told me.

510hp is not bad at all...& lighter. 600hp is probably easily obtainable which would be plenty enough for me.

thats what i am thinking. I am planning on doing exhaust work and tune with my C63. Not sure if the S would even be worth it.

It's also depends on what else is offered with the S. If it's just 30hp, I don't think it's worth it.

It's not just power. There will be suspension tweaks, and other differences such as interior and brakes. At least, that's what's being said. We won't know until October.

Would cost too much to change the exterior physically for just one model. We may see a different diffusor or something like that, but that's about it. I think.

This might turn out to be the package to get if they can make a decent package. for power and handling.
