I put a deposit down, but my dealer hasn't called me yet. There is no pricing info yet so I don't think you can really do anything.

My thoughts on your build: 18" only? they look kinda small. Did you order a S or non-S? What about the Safety packages with all the parking assist?

I went with the 18s because I'm changing the wheels as soon as the car comes out. Those are going to be 19s.

I went with the regular. Im will rarely track the car only because buttonwillow is 3 hours away.

I might add the lane assist but all the other stuff i don't use. I rarely need the features in the CLA. The lane assist just looks cool. It multimedia package comes with a backup camera which is all i need.

I don't like new first year cars for a few reasons, but I may bite the bullet
First year bugs
Price gouging
Huge depreciation

I wanted to do euro delivery and AL isn't even a close second lol
Perhaps pick it up in the fall on the way to Austin for the GP
C63S
Silver, not sure which one
Black/grey sport seats comes with silver belts
CF interior? The gloss blk/silver may be fine
CF ext bits? Clash with the gloss black trim?
Lighting pkg
Black out trim
19" silver forged wheels?
Ceramic brakes? Not needed but 'cool' factor, depends on $$$
nav pkg

Once pricing is released I'll get serious

The C Class pricing didn't come out till like 2/3 weeks before launch. Thats a long time from now if they do the same thing with the C63.

i know and the last c63 started at 60 right? I think this one is going to be priced at 62k like the M3 or 63k.

So the C63S could be like 71 and add all the other stuff

Might as well get an AMG GT lol

My hunch is that the C63S will start at $71,000 or $72,000 and loaded with every option will be around $84,000.(Minus Carbon Ceramics)

Most likely loaded C63s will hit the lower $90k.

The P31 package on the old C63 was a 6k option. I don't see how the S package adds 4k worth of kit on top of it...

I have been in contact with my dealer and according to them I have to wait before placing a deposit.
They will contact me with more info as soon as it becomes available but don't expect it until at least March of 2015.

Wait. I always thought the configurator would be up by Dec because they need to know what to build for January to deliver by March. And, pricing would have to be available by Dec then to put the configurator up? No?

no thats not the case. when the c class came out the configurator went live 2/3 weeks before launch. Mercedes does their **** differently. You can go into a dealer and order a car but the configurator won't be live here for a while.

really? thats odd. maybe the first allocations have already been taken. all the launch cars might have been taken. they aren't going to get to many of these right away. Maybe 1/2 at launch.
