So I've learned that I don't like column shifters in cars. I have a CLA 250 loaner. It just seems out of place in a car. It feels fine in my dads gl. I guess it's just something to get used too.

+1 I've been intentionally ignoring it hoping it will go away. Guess not -- will just have to get use to it. We own a 2005 Honda Pilot we use to take our dogs to the dog park and it has the same thing. Feels like I'm driving my grandfather's old Pontiac. I suspect it won't take me too long to get over it.

So.. my dealer called to tell me that car on order does not match what I ordered. He told me that since its so close to production the options can't be changed. I am pissed. For starters, its black not lunar blue and its missing the performance exhaust. However, it gains a HUD. That's all I know so far, now if the car is not an S and its missing the the performance seats I might have to cancel the order all together and look elsewhere for a car.

Personally, I would be ok with the color change, but not so sure about changes affecting technical or performance aspects of the car.
I'm kind of angry myself because I wanted to see an AMG Lunar Blue!!! Probably one of the few ordered!

Sorry dude. I guess I just don't understand how this can happen. We're in 2015 and its not like they took your order on a piece of paper and threw it over the fence in hopes it was received by the production team. This is a major company with a major information system in place. I thought the ordering system was designed to prevent this type of hiccup. I'd even say wrong color and missing options is more than a hiccup.

So MB Canada is giving me tons of good laughs. They did an investigation to see why my cars being held up and why it was built so late. Their reply "There was a delay in Halifax". 
. Does MB not even know where the car is built anymore? They also stated that the launch date is end of April. The investigator also tried talking to the head of financing to see if they can find out anything about pricing, but shes out until Friday. So Friday or Monday I might hear something about that. Although someone emailed me today saying they talked to someone in MB and they said that the Edition 1 package will probably cost 15k.... 15K for Performance seats, and the red carbon fibre interior... 
Honestly. If that'll be the case then in my opinion MB Canada truly lost it.
Anyways I'll contact my dealership tomorrow. See if they can get one of their contact in MB Canada to figure out what's going on.

My understanding is that we get a lot of stuff in the premium package, so I ordered that and the edition 1 package at the same time.
