Also If the Star advantage residual for 48 months is 52% I'm probably sticking with the order. if it's not then hello either 911, Jag F Type, C63 507 edition, or yolo GTR.
Also the carbon ceramics cost $0? Damn. Why didn't I order them!

For leasing… There's really no advantage/not much difference in any way. Even if the residual value is high (it will be, for new models, compared to models that are out for some time), expect much higher lease rate. If you go lease a 507 coupe, residual value will be low, the advantage is the lease rate will be better (and big price discount)… Until you carefully calculate all the fees you'll pay in total and compare, you won't really know which is a better deal… This is the trick of FINANCE… You'll never win, bankers always WIN/have the advantage!
Not sure about the CC brake, free or error, haven't questioned MB about that… I prefer to think MB CA won't be that generous and it might be an error. I think there's still errors in pricing, eg the prices of air balance and power trunk closer are different for C63 and C63s…

Also surprisingly if I'm correct then my monthly payments won't be too bad. What I'm planning on doing is star advantage, and based off the C300, and C400 residual for 48 months of star advantage it'll be 52%. If that's the case then 104k(Taxes and shipping included) -54k (52%)=50k. 17k down payment puts it at 33k. Divide by 48 cause 48 months and it should be 687.5. Considering interest rates about 2.9-3.9 that'll put it near mid 700s or high 700s monthly.
507 edition would be 795 or so since it only has a residual of 37% for star advantage for 48 months. That's not including discounts so that can probably become less.
So basically my whole order depends on whether or not the C63S will have a residual of 52% or not.

Unfortunately its on the base price. In addition, there is no prepaid maintenance available on AMG cars in Canada. Canadian being short changed again.

507 is a good choice only if buy it with cash and with a big discount… and drive it for at least 6 years… Do it again for another 6 years, you'll save a lot compared to 3 leases over 12 years... But… you don't get to enjoy different cars and you'll be bored(?)…
GTR, it might be much cheaper if you buy in US and import (based on what I checked 3-4 years ago), but warranty?
Waiting and getting the facelift models would always be better and less problematic. Usually more options become standard… Your financial planning is way more important than any future models will have a increase in price, how fast you can make money and save/invest (the increase of your buying power) would be dominate/pwn the inflation…
Buying a 507. Don't pay cash. The rate is way too low. Use their money to finance it if you can get under 1%.
Importing a car from the US takes work, especially if it is not at least 15 years old. You will have to pay an additional 6.1% duty on top of HST. If the car is not deemed to be made in North America. So the GTR would have this additional tax. Also, you have to look at www.riv.ca and see if you can even import one. Some cars are considered to have a fragile dealer network and are not allowed to be imported (Lotus for example). You cannot import a Lotus Elise into Canada from the US. GTR I figure if you look at the riv list, you could.
Then you have to "Canadian-ize" the car. Does it show kilometres on the speedo. Bilingual airbag stickers.
My advice, don't buy a car in the US unless it is over 15 years old, or it is just something you cannot find here. Especially now with the dollar being so low.
Waiting for the facelift version in 2018 or 2019 will get you better finance rates, perhaps an all in option package if the car is not selling well. Stuff like that. Some of the best stuff comes out near the end of a products life cycle. Like the 507 Edition.
I don't think we will see much in the way of price increase in this model, as they will need to look longer than year one to see if the pricing is working for them. Year one they will do well because people really want the new. But if the pricing is off, then year two they will start to see a decline. So I expect that the pricing will change little if any in year two of the model. But we will see.
Overall, I wish the car had been cheaper. But our dollar has really taken a beating, and in the end all our results go back to MB in Germany.
PS - I have seen it work the other way. When I bought my 2010 GLK in 2009 it was cheaper than a C Class 350 fourmatic. It was a brand new model. Financing rate was not great, but because the GLK had been priced with our higher dollar at the time it actually was less than the C Class. My GLK underneath was a C 350 fourmatic. So It seemed odd to get it for less with more options on it.

Only Info I have is from yesterday. Basically my sales manager contacted MB Canada to figure out what's taking so long. They said that ahem "The car will be on the next train". Well It's still not on a train, and I'm guessing the next train also passed by already. Also they said that it "should be in Calgary by the end of the month", but things can change at any time so keep checking the system.
