damn some dealerships aren't getting their cars till late. is it an amg performance center dealership?

Hmm that's so weird. I had my deposit down in July. Order bank opened up and I told them I wanted to put my order in. They allowed me too.
My dealership also went through extra step to get me my car before theirs (I love them for that haha). Maybe that dealership didnt have many allocations. I think the dealerships demo cars and the edition 1s count against the allocations.

so they are going to price it near the E63? and almost 30k more than the M3
its going to be probably 3/4 more than the last one for the base.

You can't apply a straight exchange rate to get USD price, that's not how it works. The US is one of the largest markets, manufacturers always price them lower than Euro/pound what-have-you converted to USD. Take a look at the models currently on sale.

I juts hang up the phone with my sale guy. His latest info suggests that the US MSRP prices will be available be the end of this month at the same time dealers get their allocations. The first cars will be out by late April.
