I tinted my windows but my dealership said "Benz doesn't recommend to tinting your windows"
Why would they say that
That is a normal statement for a dealer to say. The reason is because there are multiple antennas in the rear window/front windshield. However, the newer materials used today shouldn't interfere with that.

Well...today I offically took delivery and now can say I am part of the "AMG" family. I now understand that feeling get when I had my clients the keys for the first time. Here are the pictures, as promised.
The Tint is 70% on the Windshield, 35% all around & 18% on the Pano Roof.
Looking beautiful JP! Silver was my least favorite car color. Now it's easily one of my favorites on this car. Never realized how stunning Iridium looks on the C class until I saw it in person in the sun. Plus, with the tints and black parts...
You had a plan and it's all coming out very nicely.

Thank you! A lot of people say silver is a "old mans color". However, if that is the case I will never be late for the early bird special ever again!

Thank you; I truly appreciate that. I will post the pictures of the interior later tonight.
So today I took the car on a 75 mile road trip. We went to a Cars & Coffee and then did some other driving. This car is unbelievable. I even caught a guy driving a brand new M3 (temp tag still on) grilling the car.
The entire package is complete. I only have 125 miles on the car so far. Here are some pictures (Canon 5D Mark II) from today along with the Black Badges. YES, I will post interior pictures later tonight.
The car looks fantastic. Makes the push to 2016 for mine a little harder. At least some consolation is I got the surround view I wanted.
Exhaust wise how are the different levels of sound?
You actually tinted the windshield? How is it at night? 70% is still a lot for the windshield. Your car look bad ***, but I just don't think its practical.
I would only consider giving it a color (blue/yellow/metallic/etc), but do not impede (or as minimal as possible) any light at all. I hope you have that PBA card ready

Haha thank you! Yes, my mom & dad have Surround View on their E & GLK. It is nice I am not going to lie. I do have Parktronic & Rear View so i'm good. The exhaust note is impressive. I always have the flaps open. The car is very responsive and the tranmission is quick is all the ranges.

What are you referencing by color? Lol 70% is pretty much nothing in terms of tint. It cuts down on glare at night & sun during the day.

you know some caddy has that brownish pink tint from the factory, and I think early 2010s MB had the C classes with bluish tint on the windshield? I like the blue or yellow tint, wakes you up haha.

Ah lol. Well, on a car with HUD it was a green band windshield. This is needed in order for the HUD to work properly.
Did you put clear bra on her, I'm curious what product you went with?
Thank you. Yes, I did. The only part that is not finished is the front bumper. It would be hard and expensive to do it with a custom cut. I clear bra'ed the fender, full hood, headlights, mirror caps, "B" pillars, black front part of the pano roof and full rockers. I went with Suntek Self Healing. It's so thin it's incredible.
How does it feel on corners? I know you hadn't anticipated anything with reference to the pano roof, but do you feel that it has added any feeling of weight now that you have it?

HA! I knew someone was going to ask me that. I can't feel anything to be honest. It's extremely flat and fast. Granted I haven't "pushed" it hard but I did take a hard corner at 50 yesterday and had no issues.
