From cars.com quoting ALG on a 2015 model. I think its off by 5 to 10% too low.
Can't fix the formatting...

Absolutely. My $120k M5 is CHEAPER lease-wise than the C63. The only way to get one of these is buying it, preferably low mileage used for a discount. Which really sucks, because leasing for me is way better for writing off tax-wise than buying it and writing off depreciation.

While I dig the C63 very much, leasing a M5 for less money is a better move for me.

I know that AMG products tend to depreciate pretty steeply, but it seems that in a time when lots of luxury buyers lease, no one would be able to justify that price differential. Well, BMW's lease estimate for a fully-loaded M4 (14k of options, same lease terms) is still more than $200/month cheaper than a no-option C63. I really like the C63, but I could never justify that (several years back I actually did lease an M3 (e92), and gave up on the C63 when I saw similar lease numbers on that generation).

All high end performance cars depreciate like hell. That's why I would never buy one new, only slightly used, if I had to buy one. That's also why I lease new. I have a small business so I can more easily write off the lease than depreciation if I bought. That being said, the depreciation on an M3 is set at 61% from BMW for a 15k lease, and Mercedes is setting theirs at 51%. So the BMW will always be a much cheaper lease. Throw in the free BMW maintenance and it makes me hard to justify a C63 lease.

Yes, there are other banks in regards to leasing. However, most will only use MB. Most banks will not waive any excess damage and will hit you with all kinds of fees at the end.

I too agree with everything everyone's been saying. Six months ago I was on the fence between a C63S and an M4. Both were approximately $85k. I was quoted $1,515 per month. My M4 is $869 per month. While the C63 is an incredible car, I personally just couldn't justify that money. I'm sure reasonable lease rates will come out. My 2012 C63 Edition 1 was $1,010 per month.

WAY cheaper to buy used in this case.
I bought a near pristine 3 yr old cpo '08 with 18k miles for 49k out the door.
drove it for 3 years, put about 8-10k a year on it (didn't like it very much), traded it in for 29k for a new m3.
20k over 3 years.
A LOT cheaper used.

Interesting to see the same folks in the M3 and W205 forums
I also was cross shopping the two and ended up going F80 due to lease rates. Would def be interesting to see where things are in a couple years. Hoping the B9 rs4, c63s, and Alfa are all competitively priced by then.
