2016 Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe spied for the first time
This is just the unmasked C300 Coupe. This is the C63 Coupe. Huge difference in width.

Eagerly awaiting the full reveal of the AMG variant and still with fingers crossed it's been given the bigger wheel arches with a wider stance - that will make this C205 coupe perfect
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Looks nice, but I am still liking the sedan a tiny bit more... Need the full reveal...

Wow, this article points out exactly what I was wanting to hear about the new C205 C63 coupe it sounds like it's going to be a dream machine

It's going to have "pronounced" wheel arches, it maintains a B pillar (which is excellent IMO) and looking forward to see the differences in the interior notably the front seats compared to the sedan, MB also did this with the previous C204, the front seats were lifted from the E Class coupe

Can't wait for the final unveiling
P.S. Why doesn't MBZ put on Michelin rubber? Conti's suck.

The 204 series coupe and sedans were already differentiated quite a bit the main differences however were under the skin, I agree with you that the new 205 series variants are going to be even more so, I love the way MB/AMG are clearly putting the AMG coupe apart as a real performance variant and not leaving that entirely up to the BS variant

Regarding pricing the coupe will have a premium over other variants in most markets, this new 205 with more dynamics added as mentioned may very well end up being a higher premium than the previous model.

With everything I've been reading about initial quality from the W205 C63S, I can't imagine any of the prefacelift ones being any better.
To my knowledge, MB/AMG won't do any sort of extensive rework until the facelift happens (which typically comes with a revised exterior and interior), and will only do rolling troubleshooting (aka, enjoy waiting at the dealership a LOT) for the prefacelifts.
For me personally, spending that much cash on a car means I want an amazing ownership experience, and with this being the first brand-new AMG that I want to buy, I'm not willing to deal with **** that should work but doesn't. Stuff like that simply ruins the entire experience.
C'est la vie.

Yes completely concur with all of that above.
Absolutely important for me too to totally want to have an amazing ownership experience with a vehicle in this category
More than happy to wait as I'm totally enjoying and not really wanting to give up any time soon my C204 as my current DD and have plenty of other cars for all the in-between usage requirements
Nice render, but arches aside we already know what the rear back and quarter glass panels actually look like from other fully exposed pics and that render above is not correct in that regard, the real thing looks better IMO

Also the rear trunk/boot lid lip does not "duck tail" like that it'll have a lip spoiler similar to the W205 sedan.
Regarding the pano roof, hopefully for that option it gets a full length panel not the 2/3rds set up we're seeing here and other pics like what's fitted to the A Class CLA variant.
Have placed my order, Dealer expects Aus deliveries 2nd quart of 2016

Just waiting on specs now...
