I'm loving the render and it does indeed have something of an Aston in it.
However they have placed the wing mirrors in the wrong place as they are door mounted.
I'm not really sure why though, I don't really like the door mounted wing mirrors, especially as the plate for the mounting its still in the corner.

The door mirrors will definitely be placed on the doors - as per S Class coupe, I too did not like the look of this at first as well as the more difficult to maintain aspect with that set up but it is growing on me
Agree, that side on render pic looks fantastic even without extended fenders, almost perfect proportioning and symmetry in motion unlike the bloated looking sedan (apologies to the sedan aficionados) it'll be interesting to see what MB/AMG come up with for the BS to make it stand out if the regular C205 C63's get the large fenders

That above is what I'm doing and totally ended my interest in the C204 C63 & the 507.
Although I absolutely love the C204 C63, I was never going to get serious about buying one because it just didn't tick all the right boxes for the outlay demanded (here in Australia you need the better part of $200k to buy a fully loaded one) and it just simply is not 200k's worth of vehicle, but when the 507 was released I started taking more of a keen interest again until the upcoming 205 series C63's was revealed and started showing itself to be a major step up and much better overall car for similar or less money, here in Australia the pricing for the new W205 C63S is actually less than for the outgoing 507's.
In your case you could always update, however if you keep it there is a good chance the 507 could become a sought after collectible in the long term future

Perhaps we will see the black series sooner then we thought.
The m4 GTS is coming out in 2016, they could be aiming for the same time frame in order to compete with BMW, instead of waiting towards the end of the model life cycle.

Yes interesting vids, definitely wider rear arches and wider rear tyres on those mules when compared to the W205 C63 sedan and those lightly cammo covered regular C205 pics.
Whilst it's a good point regarding the front winglets may suggest a possible BS, those are now an optional feature of newer regular AMG's like the A45 ie. they are now not exclusive to BS vehicles so we can still hope that above is just a regular C205 C63 and not a BS.

It's a testing mule and I do not believe it to be a BS because a BS would stand apart more.

C205 C63 Black Series is at least five years away.
Mercedes-AMG is currently testing a wider version of the GT-S as well with winglets over the front quarter panel. I personally think AMG might be slowly moving away from the BS business to add the more hardcore version of their coupes as an option/model to special order.
Think Porsche 911, S, GTS, GT3, GT3 RS, etc...
Mercedes is listening to all of our cries about the winder rear fender flares and they will make us pay extra for it.
One mustn't forget that Mercedes is also developing the future E63 Coupe and it's bound to be wider than the C63.
