C63S MPG Posted on MBUSA...
Not that it matters but here are the official MPG numbers posted....
  • City fuel economy - 18 mpg
  • Highway fuel economy - 25 mpg

As expected, that means we escape the dreaded gas guzzler tax.

Holy **** those are high not that most people will average those

A 2014 V6 Honda does 18mpg and 28mpg. Mercedes killed it with this engine. 500hp and you can average 21mpg combined.

Way to go AMG I'm sure glad not to have to pay the gg tax. I can spend those $$$ on some options instead.

Isn't gg tax combined 22.5 mpg or beliw get the tax

I read an article once and it said they don't use these EPA numbers to calculate the GGT. If the E63S doesn't get GGT this car won't either.

Its not there. I just built a 2015 W204 C63 Coupe and saw Gas Guzzler Tax of $1700 under "Other Charges." Did the same build for 2015 W205 C63 S and no GGT.

I read an article that stated ggt is calculated as a complete brand average.
If the complete MPG avg is above the min required level it allows more lead way for thirstier models.
