C63s amg edition 1 colour??
I have just placed an order for a C63s AMG Edition 1 and the dealer said I had until early next week if I wanted to change anything like the colour. I am tossing up between Polar White (non metallic) and Palladium Silver and would like to get some opinions from members. Will the white look a bit too "cheap" and "mid life crisis, race racer" for a 42 year old with the Edition 1 black wheels, side stripes and red accents? Will the Palladium Silver look "boring" and not show off the Edition 1 package? HELP - decisions in life don't get any more important that confirming the colour for a new car...

The red vinyl and stripes are the key elements of the Edition 1 pack (plus the black diamond seats with the red stitching). Would you simply not have optioned the Edition 1 pack? I want the car to stand out (for all the right reasons) but not be too very the top...

A lot of people will probably remove the red and stripes because it has that boy racer type look.Thats exactly what I did. I didn't get the edition 1 because I thought it was a waste. Thats my opinion though. Idk where you are from but in the US you can't option your car. The only thing you choose is color. I really wanted HUD. I don't want to add over 100 pounds to the car by getting Pano roof. I don't use sun roofs, moon roofs, pano roofs in any car.
The edition 1 does have some cool stuff though. The red carbon fiber is cool. I like the red stitching on the seats.

In Australia, we are only offered the "s" and every option (eg HUD, panoramic sunroof, TV, Air Balance, 360 camera etc) is included as standard to justify the asking price. The only exceptions are the ceramic brakes, 3 designs colours, and the Edition 1 pack). Hence, the only real choice buyers need to make is colour and whether or not they choose the Edition 1 pack. I have chosen the Edition 1 pack because I like the black and red diamond seats and want the car to be a little bit different to standard. I think I am committed to the vinyls and stripes but am worried about going too far if I don't match them with the best exterior colour. Also, if I delete the vinyls and stripes, it is a lot of extra money to pay simply for quilted seats..

From those two colors I would go Polar white. The contrast of the black parts (wheels, carbon fiber bits, etc) and the white exterior is great. Things really pop. But I understand that the white will really make the car look loud with the Ed 1 stickers.
Palladium isn't bad, except whenever I see it on the road, it's a little drab.
If you are going with the stickers, then Palladium might be better choice as it will tone it down. If no stickers, I'd say Polar White.
I noticed not many are going Steel Grey. I would love to see someone post pics of a Steel Grey C63S eventually.

Thank you all for your help. I think I will keep my order as the Polar White with the Edition 1 pack and then take the side stickers off (which hopefully will be easy) if I decide I don't like them when the car arrives.
