Dyno Testing the C63S @ Eurocharged!!
#26
As most of you might have heard, Eurocharged purchased yet another AMG to further our product line. We picked up a C63S and will be testing the products we have developed and posting the results here!
You can expect to see cooling upgrades, exhaust upgrades (including downpipes), turbo upgrades......and of course, our world famous ECU software!
Here are some videos of the baseline dyno testing we did. Please note that our dyno is the most advanced, top of the line dyno that DynoJet makes. It is AWD and the front and rear rollers are linked via the DynoJet LINX system. Our dyno also has full eddy current load capabilities!
To ensure there is no confusion, I would like to point out that there are no AWD C63's. This car is RWD. I know most of you know this, be are asked on a daily basis about this.
Eurocharged has finished development on our shop 2015 M3 as well. The M3 was traded in for the C63S. We can provide you with real world comparisons of the M3/M4 vs C63/C63S. So far, the C63S seems to be the top dog! stock is faster than our EC575 M3 (Stage II Tune, Downpipes, Intake).
Enjoy the videos!! We will be uploading more content on a regular basis!

I'll post a graph of the C63S stock dyno and the tuned M3 Dyno this week!

Can't wait to the the M3 dyno results. My buddy just put his on the Dyno and it made 420 at the wheels. Did you get the same result?
Did you break in the motor for the C63 or did you just throw her up on the Dyno?

Multiplying by 1.18 would give you an increase of 18% whereas dividing by .82 gives you what you have left of the total power output after the powertrain loss....hopefully this makes sense
They are close in end result but the division is the correct way of calculating the described relationship.

I'm already planning to sell my coupe up to my family members to lease a C63.
I would love to take a base C63 with mechanical LSD.. tune and E85 mix. Call it a day..
The C63S would be ideal, but don't need the extra goodies.
With a tune.. some E85, i can see 550+ RWHP and closer to 600RWTQ.
great development EC!

Awesome initial tuning vids - there's obviously going to be mega more over the coming years ahead from this new AMG powerplant ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Love the last vid (from the engine bay) which shows the turbos 'hot end' housings turning red hot towards the end of the run a welcome familiar sight of FI turbo engines

Official Certification Weights:
C63:
- 3729 lbs Shipping Weight (10% fuel load)
- 3829 lbs Curb Weight (100% fuel load
C63 S:
- 3755 lbs Shipping Weight (10% fuel load)
- 3855 lbs Curb Weight (100% fuel load)
It would be pretty disappointing if the W205 ends up weighing more than the W204 after MB-AMG touted significant weight savings with this new generation!

RENNtech GT-S / RENNtech CLA45 Shooting Brake
Crank hp
Had my new C63 S at RENNtech's in Germany, Superflow 880 with proper losses measurement. No stupid losses guessing... ![crazy](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/crazy.gif)
STOCK it came out to 532PS at crank instead of the rated 510, basically the same with my GT-S.
WHP was at around 460 if I remember correctly... But I remember them saying and read it many times here and there, that whp are never comparable.
Makes sense: My previous cars were always on a MAHA dyno and here losses were crazy high and whp very low... but the crak reading made sense.
