LONG time lurker here, since 06 it says! You can tell by my username.. c55 lol. Anyway, a little about my car history. Came from a B7 S4 -> GTR -> C63s. S4 is long gone but the GTR I'm keeping for other duties. Dont want to bother you with the others (trucks, hybrids, etc). One teaser pic for the road, I'll be sure to have others soon! I know this first impressions thing has been beat to death and everyone has similar things to say but I'll post a brief impression!
First Impressions - Interior.. OOZES class. Love the update and the progress of MB interiors. I was debating between the M3 and it definitely leaves it behind. BMW hasn't fully updated their interior for over 15 years. lol Exterior.. It wasn't love at first sight I must admit, but I definitely love the classy look now. The flashy flares of the M3 are getting old in my eyes. Character.. This is what I felt when I drove the AMG. From the carefully crafted engine (that is also in the flagship GTS) to the exhaust note, it is really something special. BMW seems to have gone the cost effective route using basically the same engine in their M3 as their other 35i engines. It is fast indeed but it really didnt feel special to me when I drove it. I'll leave it at that for now.
First things first, the beast need aftermarket downpipes. I love everything about the sound but it needs to be LOUDERR! Let her breathe!

Thanks lol. Also I highly doubt that cause from the looks of it MB doesn't know where the car is or they lost it. Dealership contacted them again today cause they're shocked it still shows that it's not shipped even with the system having been updated. So we'll see what reply my dealership gets I guess.
I just went in to the MB of Greenway in Houston and put a deposit down for a MY 2016 in steel grey. After seeing the pictures here I think I made the right choice.
I was told I would most likely get the September production slot. Now I just have to wait for like 4-5 months.
