LAUNCH CONTROL

A Race Start function can be enabled by first dialing up Sport, Sport+, or Race mode, setting the transmission to manual mode, and the ESP to Sport Handling.
Then, from a stop with one foot on the brake, you tug both shift paddles, prompting a message in the instrument cluster.
Acknowledge Race Start by pulling the upshift paddle, floor the accelerator, the engine revs to about 3,500 rpm, release the brake, and off you go with a modest amount of wheelspin.

It is ideal on Race mode, all the settings are set correctly for the best possible launch.

Has anyone calculated the cpl (cost per launch) in tyres?

Just need someone to put on a fresh set of tyres, repeatedly do a launch until the tyres need replacing. Then simply cpl = (tyre cost x 4) / number of launches

I'd genuinely be interesting in knowing what this cost is, anyone fancy being a guinea pig?

Pretty sure something else will break long before you wear out new tires with Race Start.
