Getting pretty close to putting in an order for a C63S. In Audi-land, almost everyone gets AudiCare as it provides a great bang for the buck.
Is Mercedes' prepaid maintenance package worth it relative to the expected maintenance? The site lists:
2 years or 20,000 miles / $1,300
3 years or 30,000 miles / $1,800
4 years or 40,000 miles / $2,375

Sounds good to me but I'm not sure the break in service at 1200 miles is covered. maybe some one can confirm. The question is will you spend more than $1800 out of pocket in three years if you opt not to choose the 3 yr plan.Originally Posted by bioyuki

I can tell you I followed the recommended service on my 2009 c350 and I spend more then $2375
in the first 4 years so I'm sure the C63s will be more.Super Member

No brakes? I thought this was the same as the BMW maintenance plan except not free. So this only covers oil change (parts and labor)?MB World Stories

If you are leasing it is not residualized into the lease. I am not taking the PPM on my current car. You will save on the AMG PPM if you do purchase it. Unlike the normal PPM MB offers; AMG PPM is NON Refundable if you try to cancel it.

Hmm kinda surprised on this one. I believe I read you are buying the rim and tire protection plan but not the PPM? Originally Posted by JPMBenz

If I were to keep the car for 2 years or so I would not either but my plan is to keep for at least 4-5 years.

Normal PPM can be residualized into the loan. This means you are adding it to the MSRP so you do not pay for the full amount. On a AMG & V12 Models you cannot. So you are paying for the full amount divided by the lease term.

That is correct. If you are keeping the car long term then it pays to get the PPM. I am doing a 3 year lease with 12k miles per year.

A Rear Diff service is required at 1,500 miles on either C63. If you purchase PPM, it is covered.
