Assuming you can get a tune for 1200-3000 range that is pretty impressive for tune + drop-in air filter.
Stage II - downpipes = 11.0?
Stage III - downpipes + turbo's + bigger inj = 10.5's????
Stage IV???? =
Does anyone know the architecture of this new motor yet:
MAS? Pegged @ what HP? Or is this speed density like the old E55's?
Fuel INJ - support what HP @ 90 duty?
Fuel Pump(s) - max HP? returnless?
Intercooler? upgrades possible?
Like above what is stock boost?
What is max boost with stock c/r? What is stock c/r?
Forged pistons stock?
Does this motor have a knock sensor, and boost retard with knock?
Let the mods begin>
Hell yeah.

Those numbers sound more realistic and maybe will be even faster if race gas tune is used as octane has a huge effect on turbo cars especially if E85 is used on a direct injection engine.
Also this run was done in Dubai at the end of may I think the temps are touching 100 Degrees over there so the 11.2 tune only on a development tune is very impressive.

To answer some of the questions,
Weather was not so great, around 2600 DA, 91f and 50% humidity. Track prep was below average (dust+humidity ), we kept spinning really bad at the beginning but got better when we dropped tire pressure.
Tune is done at Digitech dubai (GAD - motors), it's a bench flash tune. I need to get more info on boost, etc. I do know that WG duty is around 90% so there is some more gains to be had.
Like i said, tune is not done yet, on the dyno it seems that hp drops slightly top end (5000-7500rpm range) so that explains the fast ET and slow trap speed, in the last tune update our tuner fixed that so now we are expecting a more relative trap speed.

So here is a time slip from today runs.
pc screenshot
some facts:
- Full weight ED1 (pano)
- 3/4 tank
- Tune is not final, there's some headroom left.
- 176lb driver
- 285/35r19 MPSS@23psi
Car has the following:
- Tune
- Custom BMC drop-in filter
video to follow soon.

Impressive
And as already said, this is just the beginning.
No doubt now that by the looks of it 10's are a definite on this car with some well developed engine map tuning and better traction (tyres) only - that would be more than enough for most people

eks- thanks for sharing, wow I did not realise how huge this matter developed into until just now. It's really sad that a shady doing of one specific tuner ( will not name them ) can affect us this much.
Just wanted to add that we are not shooting for any kind of records here, all I did was share our experience on this platform.

Gee that's a bummer
However I think there's little doubt we'll see similar and even better genuine instrumented times in future, this platform is still so new there's lots to come over the years ahead

Am pretty sure the times are legit, don't mind that one incedent which was not recognized anyways, beside I provided before and after and the difference falls within reason.

To answer a few questions about the C63S I got to stop by the dealership today when the AMG rep was doing C63S training for the sales staff.... a few nuggets I captured:
C63s boost max = 17 psi
C63 boost max = 15 psi
The guy said there is alot of head-room avail for aftermarket since this is based on the 24psi boosted 4cyl.
I/C is water-air like the old e55.
race start impacts 8 elements... don't recall them all..... dealing with muffs, diff, trans, eng....
elec rear diff on the S has tq vectoring which aids corning.
The cats are behind the turbos in the V of the engine
The C63s is actually longer in the nose than the normal variant.... there are AMG specific spacers to push the front out to accomodate the v8 and turbo accoutrimants.
I won't bore you with all this stuff..... but found the boost figures interesting and relevent to this thread.
Cheers.

n/p - he had two pistons to compare... the old 6.2 liter and the new 4.0 liter.... the new piston is so wee little compared to the older sibling.
Got so see how they "crack the conn rods at the conn rod bearing for a perfect fit. Pretty cool stuff.
The rev flow engine is crazy..... intake charge is where our old headers used to be..... and exh discharge is in valley where intake used to rest.
Can't wait for the "next" timeslip.
Cheers.

Looks like you attended a AMG Performance Center training LOL.
To your note about the "S" being longer; both the C63 & C63 S grew by 2" to make the M177 engine fit. They put a "spacer" near the front of the bumper. Interesting concept when you think about it.
