Front 3 point star 3D or flat with gloss black paint?

I have noticed there are 2 types of the front grille logo 3 point star. Mine is 3D hollow. Anyone got the gloss black flat background one?

Cars that have the Distronic Plus adaptive cruiser control have the radar for the system behind the star in the grill of the C Class. Hence get the "solid" star versus the hollow one.

Strictly from a cosmetic stand point what is the general consensus on which star looks better? The solid with distronic or the standard star without distronic.

Thoughts?

That's a very good question !!!

Personally I prefer the look of the 3D or non-distronic emblem, but would never go without the distronic feature so have learned to love the look of the solid emblem which I personally refer to as "the big MB button" which in reality is actually a radome

I noticed the solid star on a 2014 the other day and thought it looked great. Got my vote...
