I traded my 2011 W204 C63 for a new 2015 W205 C63S today.

I've only had a short time to drive it so far, but I'm completely in love with this car. Downshifts in Sport+ and Race mode are brutal, and the exhaust sounds awesome. The tech in this car is crazy. It can drive itself on the expressway and park itself. Not that I'll use those features but it's still neat

This is my 4th Mercedes and 3rd AMG. They keep getting better and better, and I'll keep coming back.

P.S. The same person - Dennis D..... (?) built both my SLK55 AMG and C63 AMG engines. Anyone know how I can get in touch with him via email or otherwise to thank him?

curious do you lease your cars or buy them? just wondering if you had any issues in any of your amg cars longer then the 4 year mark

All leases. The transmission went out on the SLK55, but luckily I had an aftermarket warranty through EasyCare, as the replacement was something ridiculous like $18k. The 2011 C63 had the fuel pump go out, but I had pre-paid maintenance so I don't know what it really cost.

The dealership and the warranty company argued over it for a while. Apparently the only transmission that fit the car was the SLK55 AMG transmission Somehow the warranty company found a totaled SLK55 whose transmission was intact, and had that sent at the replacement.

Awesome ride! The red on black seats really complete the look. Is that obsidian black?

Regarding the repairs, would the standard warranty not have covered the transmission and fuel pump?

Is that an aftermarket CF trunk lip or from the factory? I never knew they did lip only or if you had to get a whole CF package for that.

I believe this might be below average. I use to get only about 5000 miles on my modded mustang so 11000 is not bad at all. I figure I will be replacing the back tire every year and the fronts every 2.
