And so it begins, Weistec upgraded turbos!

I cannot say more other than the gains are way higher than those, they are just choosing not to say anything yet, since their stage 1 tune alone with nothing else is already making those power levels.
This M177/178 Horsepower war is about to get real interesting

Weistec's setup will most likely make considerably more power then Eurocharged. EC took the easy hybrid route which is using stock housing and replacing wheels but you'll always be limited by the stock housing size, turbo back pressure because of large wheels in small housings, and stock manifold flow. The Weistec upgrade is going to replace the stock manifold with larger inlets/outlets for greater flow as well as completely new turbo housings so they won't be limited in options

Eurocharged units will be impossible to detect, therefore they won't void warranty. Weistecs will

Small brakes + 16" wheels with Slicks for more wrinkle
skinnies up front
remove all excess wgt
The aMG GT is knocking down 1.7XX 60' with aftermarket wheels....... not sure why the C63S should be too much different.... more wgt...... but similar power/tq......
Very good point and something I always allude to as well

Having to purposely set up for maximum traction as above is a PITA and most wouldn't bother.
At least rumours of AWD persist especially at least on one of the upcoming coupe variants - here's hoping because AWD is what this new C63 really needs with these levels of power upgrades we're starting to see now and especially down the track in years to come
As said above people have been solving RWD traction problems (in a st line) for decades.
I really don't think 275's in the rear will hold up to 700 HP (crank) 700 TQ (crank) kinda of numbers that people are saying might be possible with the w205 especially with upgraded turbos and full bolt on with ecu.
In the end it doesnt effect me as I don't plan to do any modding like this to begin with, but I am curious as to the limits are and what power can actually be put down
does anyone know if 285 is possible in the rear?
