Check engine light on C63s edition 1

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
The 2016 order guide shows this.
I am not insinuating that Mercedes USA cannot build a quality product, I know a lot of times the first model year of a redesign has issues, just something to note.
I am new to Mercedes and am not aware of how the first year of production runs went with the W204 either.

I have the check engine light problem, it comes on when i rev close to red line,
sometimes the light turn off by itself after restarting engine, sometimes doesn't.
Dealer blame it on the bad fuel quality we have in Taiwan.
The car also showed a message saying i need to add 1 liter of engine oil, i took it back to dealer, and they told me i shouldn't use the shift paddle to downshift more than 1 gear at a time.
Whats the point of buying a C63S when i can't floor it and use the the downshift paddle?
My has about 2400km or 1500miles
However I have never had any issues with the engine light. I do however use the best fuel we can get here in the UK. Shell V Power Nitro. It is a 98 or 99 RON fuel I think. Have been told by many tuners this is the best in the UK. Could engine fuel be part of the engine light issue? If using 91/95 type fuel and pushing the car hard, perhaps this may be a reason? Only those who have this issue could say what they were doing and when they started getting the light. Perhaps use best fuel for a little and see if anything changes.
Also if you're spending this money on a car it would be best to spend the same on premium fuel - performance engines require the best fuel. Having said this people may be using the best fuel and still getting the light... Was just a thought.

I do notice that as people hear of my issues, the first thing is that they blame the cause on the owner (me). Are we really conditioned that way? I believe there is a real problem. My brand new car should not go into limp mode with severe shakes and throw misfire codes. There is a real problem to address.

As highlighted in my previous post, I'm sitting with a number of rattles and squeaks and sensor lights in the rear seats, and wiper blades that used to chatter... oh there is also a ticking noise in the engine bay when idling... not sure if this is an issue, but I'm having my car replaced so am not worrying about this all for this car. If my new car does the same I'll be concerned. So I was trying to highlight the numerous issues people are seeing with this first revision on the 205... so its not a surprise some people are seeing engine light issues.
This is exactly my experience. My CEL came on and the car ran ok for 2 days but on day 3 it began to misfire. This then cleared but the car was delivered to the dealership still with the CEL on. They did the software update and I'm pleased to say that all is very well once again.
I am a big believer that FL'ed MY's tend to see far better quality control than PFL'ed, especially first MY car's.
This is the reason I am waiting 4 years for the FL'ed C63S Coupe.
