Check engine light on C63s edition 1
Carlos
Actually my trunk broke on day 2. A few days later I noticed some very poor bumper fitment. A few days after that the night package trim that runs under the door sill came off. Then the next day the check engine light came on.
My dealer bought it back for 1500 less than j paid and then gave me 8500 off a w204 507.
It broke my heart because the w205 is outstanding car. I'll probably buy another one next year.

Any word on the CEL cause from the shop? Fuel, timing, emmissions?
My wifes W204 2014 model went into the shop with <1000 miles.... the fuel pump p/u was disintegrating, sucking plastic into the fuel p/u causing fuel starvation and limp mode intermittently.... a savvy tech @ MB diagnosed this by monitoring fuel pressure with car on the rack...... revving engine......

Really? That was fast. I get my car next week and feel I'm still madly in love with the idea of owning it. I just can't imagine the pain that would cause me to walk away from it after two weeks. Sorry to hear about this bro. The W204 507 is not a bad option either. Hopefully won't have these issues, might is being built in Germany.

This should not happen. These cars are not part of a first grade cut, paste, and glitter project. I hope HQ Merc in Germany is reading all W205 comments, including the non-AMG comments. I always associated Merc with high quality, luxury, and class. Trim falling off in the parking lot at the dealer is really an embarrassment to the brand. Having said that, I don't think these problems are systemic since feedback on forums is a really small sample size. Like you, I hope they resolve these issues soon.
