My 2016 order
Finally had time to go to the dealership this afternoon to place my order. I was told build date is August 25th. Here's my spec:
Black
Black/Red pepper leather
Black ash open pore
19" twin 5 spoke wheel
Night styling
Blind spot assist
Rear side airbags
Lighting package
Multimedia package
Hands free package
I did not plan to get the hands free package originally, but tried it at the dealership and thought it was cool, so decided to get it.
A question for you guys, anyone has the price for the surround camera? Between performance exhaust and surround camera, which one will you get?

That's going to be a nice car! Keep us updated with pics when it delivers.
For surround camera, on a C300 it is $1250 I believe as part of the Parktronic package. I would go for the performance exhaust personally for the quiet option. AMGs are too loud.

I am confused...I thought the performance exhaust is to make it louder? Is there an option to make it less loud?

Has anyone measured the db level of both settings vs the standard exhaust system? The main advantage from inference is that exhaust sound can be made quieter in one of the sport settings.

I need to figure out which option to get then. The surround camera looks pretty cool on the c63 too according to this video, starts around 2:55.

There is no surround view available on any MY15/16 for North American builds (even though the 2016 DOG shows the package). You would have to go to Germany or to Asia to get the package at this point.

I've asked the dealer who talked to the MB distribution coordinator and he was told that there is a shortage of the camera (218) that is also used for the rearview system. The supplier of that camera is trying to "ramp up" production, but there is no schedule for insuring adequate supply for allow production of the SurroundView package for MY16. I wish that I am wrong on this point because I sorely would like to add it into my build configuration. It was there for a brief time (I have the original configuration request sheet showing it and the price), but it was subsequently removed when the PO was created.

HB There appears to be either a problem or shortage with the 360 cameras. I wanted the surroundview package as well since I think the option looks cool on what I have seen on an S-Class video. I'm also becoming a bit gun shy about getting the first year C63S out of AL with some of the reports that have been posted in this forum. I don't usually go with the first year of a new model and now we have a both a new assembly plant process and a new design all at once. I'd like to see things settle down without more reports of early failures. I really want the car, but....

My build is currently scheduled for the 3rd week in November. If the surround view will be configurable in the next two months, I will delay and wait until the cameras are there (assuming a Jan build). Otherwise, I'm going to cancel the order and just wait until MY17.
