AMG Factory wheels

IMPO other makes such as some BMW & Porsches( such as on GT4 & GT3rs) have better looking standard mag wheels to the AMG's. Is it likely there will be better choices in future from AMG to complete the whole car.

I did not like the 5 spoke wheels on the standard c63s because I thought they were the same or similar like the previous generation but after seeing them in person I must say they look much better. I still opted for the black wheels though.

The 5 spoke stockers are actually much better looking in person.

I agree. I think they are best on the 19s.

Hope so - I've ordered mine with the std 5 spokes. They looked so awesome on JPMBenz's car and others in the Iridium Silver. But I have also seen the Silver with the Black Cross spokes, and admittedly - I like those too. It gives the car a slightly "harder/sportier" look in my eyes.

If you want the upgraded black rims but can't get them, you can always mod the standard 5 spoke.

That looks awesome man! Great job. It does change the overall look of the car to be more aggressive I think. That's just given an option if I tire of the std silver. I do like it in silver though. Arg! Torn! Hahaha. Good to have options though! Thanks for the pics. Car looks awesome!

The best I have seen so far is the black one from C 63 507 and the new CLS 63.

After studying the standard wheels on my car; they were the right choice. They have a lot of silver aspects in them and they compliment the car very well. Plus they are 1,000,000 times easier to clean than the Cross Spoke Wheels.

So how long does it take to clean one of these wheels and what do you use ? Brush? mits ?

I like the look but not sure if I will still like it a few months later because of the cleaning.

Yeah JP, your car sold them to me. When seeing them on the MB website doing the build I was unsure, but seeing your car finished after the wash and tinted windows - I was all over it :-) and your point about cleaning them is a big one too.... Less maintenance time and more driving time is always a major plus :-) my neighbour has a Porsche 911 turbo - I think his hands have done 3 times more mileage cleaning it than the car has registered on the clock... But that's what he loves... :-) happy weekend all!

Haha, yes very true they are a lot easier to clean.
BTW I would be more than happy to spend an extra hour cleaning the wheels IF I had a 911 Turbo.
