Scandinavian Sports Car of the Year 2015
Missing a few cars on this list but no real surprise seeing the new Z06 on top with its power to weight ratio. Kudos to the Cayman GT4 which beat the mighty GTR. Also AMG GTS had the fastest speed on the straight.
AMG GTS is apparently a badass stock, i can only imagine how the Weistec or Renntech ones run.
ETA C63S was faster than the Caymen and the Carrera on the straight.

Good topic and I thought this to be odd as well. The only thing I could see is that the Z06 is faster into (brakes) and thru the turn (G's) but the AMG GTS has better traction coming out.

BTW, had a M4 vert spot me and maneuver his way next to me today. The race gods are awesome because, guess what, I just went over 1000 miles and was looking for an opportunity to open up the car. Had quarter tank and was happy because my wife's 115 lbs were not in the car for once during a race opportunity. Dropped the car to S+ at the red light and gave him a quick look -- he never acknowledged me but that's okay.
Before the light turned green, he was nudging at the adjacent yellow light so I knew he was looking for the jump. Light turned green and he never had a chance. Wow....what a rocket! I hit 60 mph in what felt like 3 seconds and noticed he was immediately behind me. I know it wasn't 3 seconds but OMG, what a rocket. Since we were basically going light to light, we stopped a few blocks up the road and I could tell his little feelings were hurt because he still did not acknowledge me at the second light. My guess is he had a more difficult time putting the power down and could not get out the gate like he wanted. The M4 has a lot of down low torque (I know
) and I thought he would have done better. Nonetheless, I'll take the kill. So yeah, the AMG-GT numbers do not surprise me and my butt dyno tells me there is more power in these engines than what is reported.
