Break in - Comfort and Sport mode only?
Only Comfort mode and Sport?
4500 rpm max?
And roughly to what speed limit?
Any other break in tips would be greatly appreciated
Didn't go past 4.3k rpm yet, and the fastest I've driven so far is 130 km/h
Official break in procedure from the manual is
Drive at varying vehicle and engine speeds
Avoid heavy loads e.g. driving at full throttle during this period
When changing gears manually, change up in good time before the tachometer needle reaches 2/3 of the way to the red area of the tachometer.
Do not manually shift to a lower gear to brake the vehicle
Try to avoid depressing the accelerator pedal beyond the point of resistance (kick-down)
Do not drive faster than 85mph
Only allow the engine to reach a maximum engine speed of 4500 rpm briefly
Ideally for the first 1000 miles drive in program C

- Warm car properly
- Start in comfort
- Toggle between sport and sport plus, mixing up the speeds a bit
- Gentle on the brakes
- One time at 90 MPH
- Never over 4500 RPM
I'm currently at 1100 miles and not one problem or CEL.

Car looks awesome btw man, I will be honest I'm not a fan of the stripes on the side or the red pinstripes around the wheels. Personally think they are a little, dare I say it, tacky, on an AMG of that class, but you are still young and probably like the more show-offy nature of them

Only one problem though; you gotta stop choosing cosmos black... Metallic blacks don't capture light and have nice clear reflections like a gloss paint will! If you're going black, go with gloss!! When it's clean it looks better, but the metallic hides dust better and swirl marks.

Thanks. The only reason I'm actually keeping the Edition 1 stuff on the car is because it makes the car look more unique, and since I paid for the Edition 1 package.. Well might as well keep everything on haha. Plus luckily the stripes are actually subtle compared to what other car companies do.
I can't help it man! I just love the Metallic colors! Lol. Also I'm staying away from gloss black since my cousin has a Volvo C30 in gloss black, and boy does that thing show dirt and dust!
