My C63 S 1/4 Mile Run
I ran my car at Byron Dragway on Sunday with good results:
11.60 at 120
Everything is stock including tire pressure. Needless to say, I am very impressed with the car and can't wait to start modding.

You must be quite skilled to cut a 1.8 60' time on the stock tires. I manage to spin when I get even a bit enthusiastic leaving a traffic light ;-)
Did the car feel strong right to the end or could you feel any drop off in power? I'm still trying to understand why these cars get good to great E.T.s, but are not trapping well above 120 MPH which is where I would expect them based on the E.T.s.

Thanks, but it's hard to take much credit for the 60' when I used Race Start! The car does feel stronger down low than on the big end, but there is definitely no "dropping off" or reduction in power.

Great time. Same track I was cutting 1.9's at with my CLK55 on A/S. Usually the track prep is good there. I am digging the 120mph trap.
Any other runs? Or just the one.
Next time you go, let me know, while I am currently AMGless, been wanted to take the daily there for S&G.

Can you give us some details, like how many miles on your car-
Did it come with Mich. PSS- what was temp. That day? Did you have 93 octane fuel? What was your weight?

Motor Trend ran 12.2 sec @ 119.5 mph, so it's not unreasonable to pick up half a MPH in better conditions like cooler weather and track prep -- I think we'll see a lot more trap speeds like this after the summer when the temperature drops.
The 60' correlates to a near perfect launch, hence the 11.6...

Tire pressure was 34 psi
Tires are Michelin PSS
93 octane
Car has 2300 miles
I weigh 200 lbs.
I did a small, dry burnout with traction all the way off then put it back in sport and used Launch Control. I have a video, I need to upload it still.
I did two runs, the second was 11.63 @119.5

Very impressive time. This beats the renntech quarter mile posted on (blahboost). Although I don't know under what conditions that run was made.
