ACG Project C63S | Downpipes | KW Suspension | HRE Wheels | Xpel Stealth
This car was essential in our development for some of the first aftermarket downpipes available. It sounds absolutely insane wide open throttle and performs even better.
After 1 week of ownership and less than 300 miles on the odometer this beast was in for its performance transformation and goal was set out to compete at Shift-S3ctor Oregon in the BMW vs. AMG categories.
Here she was the day it was dropped off... Exceedingly stock.
Quickly to work getting the ECU out, which unfortunately on these cars is quite the process due to it's location on the side of the engine:
Time to remove the transmission to get those restrictive downpipes out:
Downpipes out! Compared to the new stainless, cat bypass units:
Downpipes back in the car, time to reassemble and dyno!
We decided to calibrate the car for the race with VP Fuels MS109... Needless to say picking up 140+ torque and 130+ horsepower to the wheels we were very, very happy with the results!
The sound of these cars is pretty unmistakable and downright nasty on the street.
Up in Oregon, this car performed flawlessly. No issues, no quirks. True performer from the start. Ended up making it's way to the finals and wining the BMW vs. AMG roll race competition. Very impressive beating out tuned E63's and highly modified M3's!
After it's victorious debut in Oregon, we got to settle down on some cosmetics. The owner wanted to make some good contrast of finishes but chose to keep everything black for a very sinister look. We blacked out all of the silver trim, painted a fresh new set of emblems, swapped over the HRE wheels from his W204 C63, stanced the car with the very first set of KW V3 Coilovers and had the entire car wrapped in Xpel Stealth paint protection film.
The end result is visually stunning, with more than enough power to keep you entertained!!
One last mod will be a final set of wheels properly spec'd for this car from HRE to accommodate the rear 295/30 Toyo R888 Tires we are currently running.
Enjoy!

Quick question as I havent tackled this yet on mine. Removing the rear Chrome boot lid and painting it black ? Did you approach from inside the boot lid ?
