C63S owners... cool weather impressions

If you rec'd you c63s this summer in a hot climate, please post up any diff you see as things cool off this fall/winter.

Today was a cool (relative) 72 deg F in Houston, and I notice a marked difference.

I'm in Houston too.

First thing I noticed is that it doesn't seem to run out of breathe as bad when approaching redline. Still seems to lose some steam compared to the mid-range (especially above 6000 RPM), but nowhere near as bad as when it's 95+ outside.

This makes me think you were correct with the heat soak issues you thought people were seeing on the first few 1/4 mile runs we saw on here.

We've been fortunate to have have great weather all of September here in Chicago. We've had 70's and 80's it's been great. This week is our first cool week and the car is noticeably different. The tires don't grip as well to the cool asphalt the traction light blinks all the time at low speeds. Just a little gas and you can feel the car getting squirrely on less then perfect road conditions.

how about an odd iron on iron sound from the brakes coming to a slow stop? I have carbon ceramics on mine and they have been making an odd noise lately in DFW area.

CCB will do that. They are prone to make noise when they are cold.
