Also noticed how it gives the impression of a slightly more elongated boot from the 3/4 rear (funny how angles and perception can change that much of a cars proportions). LOVE IT.
Can't wait to finally get mine. my dealership is still telling me end of April so we'll see what happens. Can't guarantee any pics straight-away cause I'll probably be too busy tearing the roads up with it

Wow, that's so soon. Congratulations! Mine is set to arrive the start of August... In the mean-time, the pictures will have to keep me satisfied.

Is it at all possible to order a C63S coupe in Australia without the night package? I've had the black chrome stuff on BMWs and I much prefer the matte silver chrome outline around the glass.
Three things I wouldn't order again on any car:
1. 'Night' packages,
2. Panoramic roofs
3. White interior leather.

The magno paint real makes them stand out even more.
I would've loved this colour but I'd definitely get over it over time...

Personally I thought I would like the matte colours but when I saw one in real life - I think it was a CLS in magno grey at the dealership in Brisbane - I was actually disappointed. It just looked cheap and for want of a better word - flat. Actually it made the car look lifeless. This was of course compared to the glossy cars that surrounded it. I also noticed a few smudge marks on the finish of the matte paint quite easily. It really looked like dark grey primer. My wife even made a comment that it just absolutely wasnt her cup of tea.

Quite angry with my dealer. After so much reassurance about an April delivery, went in today and was told now to expect mid/late June. -_-

1. Personal preference. Don't like gloss black anything on bumpers, interior, find it shows swirls, scratches dust etc. Prefer matte chrome window surrounds - looks classier and highlights the sleek glass design side profile on coupes better.
2. Creaks and lets in excessive heat. Plus glass area does not extend to rear glass. This really should be an optional delete in Australia/hot climates.
3. White leather is lovely but in my experience shows dirt very easily I found. Can yellow over time. And I've used Leatherique, Meguiars, Zaino etc. My perference for this car would be a saddle brown colour.

If you have a allocation reserved they can give you a date. they divide the month into 3 terms (decades)and they have to know which you have or they have not really put in your order yet. I put in my order in late June and was given a 1/3 month date for mine to be built and it was, and delivered on time so if they can't give you that I would ask why not???? They can also give you a printout of the order with a #. And soon a VIN.

I quite like the design and think its different compared to the old AMG designs... But I'm sure they will release more styles in the facelift/ overtime.
